Chapo Guzmán's ship sinks in the bay of Peru

Sinking of a part of the Tláloc ship in Ilo is reported. The clock marked 5 in the afternoon when the people who were on the beach noticed how the Tlaloc boat began to be dragged by the sea. The ship remained anchored since 2010, when the Anti-Drug Department of the National Police, in coordination with the DEA, requisitioned the tuna vessel that was transporting 3 tons of cocaine and was used as a front for the Sinaloa Cartel whose leader was Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzman. Apparently, the anchor chains broke and the boat ran aground in the Patillos sector of the Pacocha district, in Ilo, where it finally sank. Faced with this emergency event, the authorities activated the contingency plan. Ilo port captaincy staff, announcement that it will open a summary investigation to determine the causes of this fact. The boat was seized in 2010, when it was used to traffic drugs to Mexico. The uninhabited ship was swept away by strong waves towards the Pacocha district. A part of the Tláloc ship, known as a narcobuque, sank in the bay of the Pacocha district, in front of the Concha Acústica, in the province of Ilo. In 2011, the Regional Government of Moquegua requested the ship for research work that never fulfilled that purpose. The ship is uninhabited and is in a state of abandonment. Little by little it was dismantled and was left in a scrap condition on the coast of Ilo.
