These ladies are from a small community in Poplarville MS named Hart’s Chapel, hence the name. I live not far from there and am so proud of them as fellow Mississippians!! I think they are two sisters and a cousin and the pure authentic country is so refreshing, their voices and harmonies are perfect! They actually auditioned on America’s Got Talent and even though all the Golden Buzzers had been used, all the judges came together for another ‘special’ golden buzzer. Dolly contacted them as soon as she saw it and is a massive fan now! 🎶♥️🎶

That would have been fantastic. And Dolly Parton loves this song. Loretta Lynn said if this group wanted to update any of hers, they were more than welcome to when she heard this.

If you like the video you really need to see their live performance on America's Got Talent, they are fantastic! Dolly Parton loved the song and Loretta Lynn said she wanted to see what they could do with her songs.

They got noticed on America’s Got Talent .. they’ve been trying to make it in Nashville but they said cause of their skin color it’s difficult ! But country is growing and very diverse now ! Jimmie Allen just won new artist of the year at the CMAs last year and he was on “Dancing With the Stars” .. so happy for these girls .. they sang their own songs throughout the competition on AGT.. usually people sing covers not their own songs !! Lv them ❤

I am so glad you reacted to this. I laughed so hard the first time I saw this video. Those three women are talented and funny as hell. When she slammed the beer bottle on his head, I cheered. I married a redhead once. Never got stabbed but I did get a black eye, busted lip, and ganaria soooooo. We divorced and now she's dead. "I didn't do it!" What's messed up is I used to tell her I was gonna dress her in yellow and play speedbump. She passed by being run over by a van. "I reiterate, I didn't do it!!!"

This is a great song. But Dolly lived in a different world!!!

You need to go back and do Jolene again only watch the live version where she tells the real story of what inspired the song Jolene. IRL Dolly handled it a lot more like the lead singer of this song did. Something about hold my wig and dragging him back home where he belonged and reading him the riot act. I don’t think he actually cheated just flirted with the idea of it with a red head at the post office or something like that.

Well.... in defense of the hubby in the original Jolene, Dolly never said he actually cheated. When I heard Dolly speak of it, Jolene was a local woman who flirted with her husband, and I got the idea he was flattered by the attention, but.... he wasn't cheating.

Love the girls and the great song but after watching this video a hundred times i have fallen in lust with the guy without the beard. I dont know why but he sends me in a dither. I watch this now to see him, not the song. Cheers.

What I don't get is why women fight each other over a no-account cheater. I saw girls in high school literally scrapping over a guy who was cheating on both of them. Why weren't they mad at HIM? IMO they should have both beat the tar out of him. My ex cheated on me, I despised the other woman, but he was the one I was mad at.
