I'm excited Nu Metal is back 🙌 yes Korn are so specific and so unique that anything else that sounds similar, Korn pops. When I first heard this it's like I heard the entire Paradigm Shift album. It made me really happy 😊 they are unique with a spice of Korn 😆

Agree mate. I've also heard a little Pantera in some of there tunes mixed with a dash of Korn and slip knot. Love nu metal. Glad its coming back like in the 90s

I dont care if they sound like korn. I grew up and still.listen to korn 20+yrs later. And its actually refreshing to hear something that turned me into a metal kid period. It damn sure sounds better than Most shit out today....love it.

Dude He has "The Lastat Voice from the Queen of the Damned" it's a blend of Korn and Wayne Static. Influence.

These guys don't just have KoRn in them, their singer's screams and the guitar solo here sound like a bit of Avatar influence.

The lead singer stated in an interview that smile again was a nod to KORN for being such an insperation to so many bads. Personally i loved it, also the video for that song was shot with a cell phone.

Listen to their acoustic songs...nothing Korn at all about those! They have 2 songs that sound Korn like, which are Smile Again and this one but the others really don't. They have many different sounds. CK said his main vocal influence was not Johnathan Davis, but that it was Layne from Alice in chains (which I can hear a bit of that too in certain songs) but yes he did include Johnathan Davis too as an influence of course, just not the main one.

I heard somebody listening to this song. I thought I was hearing a song from Korn's new album. When I was told I wasn't, I started the obvious. They sound like them lol. The are definitely heavenly influenced by Korn.

Just so you know, it was their INTENTION to make Smile Again KoRn-like. If that's what you think, C.K. will respond with "Then I did my job correctly" This song, I hear KoRn and Trivium mixed, myself. Oh yeah, some Static X in there too! Yeah man, as a "metal composer", that really is just the structure of metal, just the "Recipe". But like any recipe, the cook's skill makes a big play on how that result tastes, right? I agree with you cause they do sound like KORN be better because they ADDED A MASSIVE LEAD.... And I have always felt that is what KORN lacked...

The intro kind of reminds me of Love and Meth, it's not 1:1 but I hear hints of it there

I would definitely bang this music but i have to say listening to it, my brain would automatically tell me its korn. I would feel like i was listening to a new korn album.

Should listen to Hell Has No Way Out, more unique of a sound. More of themselves.

The bad thing is you only listened/reacted to songs inspired by Korn (and the vocalist do not hides it - he is like "duuuh" about it) because those are popular. Go on spotify and "waste" an hour of your life to listen to their other material.

Not the early stuff with the female lead singer. This band is much better with C.K. Smile on vocals.

This guy commenting on video saying there just like korn,,,,not true korn does not hardly ever, I don't think ever use double bass drum, chaoseum uses it alot,,or guitar solos which he did say

It’s basically taking the sound the melody the structure the beat some lyrics and the concept. It’s like a cover band of KORN nothing original or anything about it. It’s sounds decent because they are using the exact same well EVERYTHING that KORN has already created and wrote. It’s a band that’s literally just using another bands sound style etc. and just changed the words to the songs that KORN has already created. Idk. There talented enough to make up their own sound. At least a little bit. It literally sounds JUST LIKE KORN EVERYTHING EVERY SOUND LYRIC BEAT! Aka. A cover band. Talented enough band to create their own sound.
