My favorite thing about this video is how some of the cats are calm, then lose it because the others are going nuts but those ones become calm but because the previously calm ones are now chaotic, they just lose it all over again. It's a perpetual motion machine of unending chaos that won't stop until they all realize they need to chill; which they did.

That dark ninja cat that jumps up in the corner up the wall then flies across the room is just hilarious. I remember a similar video where a room with cats and dogs was total mayhem when the owner had brought in a stuffed lynx or similar cat. One of the house cats was curious and crept up to it slowly to smell it then got spooked. Same result as this but I think they were all running for their lives! :)

Watching this in slow-mo, I have determined that there are two classes amongst these felines: the Blurs, which are the ones who fled at the first sign of a catastrophe, and the Stoics, who held their positions firmly but cautiously (at least at first) I have successfully identified at least three Stoics, though this count may not be exhaustive (unbiased third-party input recommended). In the lower-middle right of the screen, there is one cat who hunkers low at the sound of the falling object, though it is quickly determined that this Stoic may have, in fact, been an Opportunist in hiding, as shortly after the initial chaos, this cat can be seen pouncing deliberately and with apparent glee on another unsuspecting fleeing cat. To the left is our second longest-standing Stoic, who remains in place right up until they detect the cat tower in the center of the room begin to sway, at which point it can be surmised they seek shelter (rather than blindly fleeing) once they escape off-screen. But most notable of all is, just above where the first Stoic (Opportunist?), is our longest-lasting member of this particular feline society. This cat hunkers low like the first, but given their vantage from the elevated shelf in the center of the far wall beneath a window casting the majority of the room’s light, this cat is able to (mostly) safely assess the situation without need to react. They hold their position, even when one all-white Blur ricochets off the ground and into the window just to their right (our left). However, given the relative safety of their perch, can we validate the claim that this is, in fact, a Stoic? Could it be a Blur who just happened to be at the right place at the right time? Who knows, this was a fun video to watch from the bath and I had nothing better to do than push my thumbs against this phone screen and make words

I am sitting here crying from laughter right now -- I have watched it five times!

Only cats can panic so aesthetically. It’s like all the Shaw kungfu classics rolled into one. A masterpiece of felinity!

Even a fight happened so many things to look at. I'm always impressed how cats jump in so many different ways in just one second

I never regret spending the time to watch this masterpiece.
