Just come back from a KT tournament so felt like it was a good kill teamy day to drop the video

RULES EDIT: In the team video it says the assault serg has a plasma pistol but he actually has a hand flamer, my bad forgot to update the team video from the last vid. If you choose to 'Point Blank Overwatch' as a guard reaction you then roll no attack dice for the subsequent fight sequence.

Also I don't think the Fireblast from the Acolyte gets the L5+ cause it's not a wepaon but a power . awesome BR thanks !

Fireblast spell indicates you 'shoot using the following ranged weapon' so it is technically a weapon despite all the swirly magic 😂

Russ's batreps always make me laugh. Not very many channels are putting out batreps that aren't just two guys playing a game. GFN videos are actually entertaining to watch. 👽

What an absolutely savage game! I didn’t think the legionaries were going to make it but the Chaos Gods are pleased with this slaughter! Cracking job on the batrep as ever, and well done on getting the ITD terrain finished. I’m currently halfway through my lot…it’s quite the project !

Great report as always! Regarding the chosens daemon blade, you only need to strike with a crit to heal, you don't have to kill with the crit strike

@@pbutch217 I think at that point he was still full wounds so if he'd blocked the crit I would've just killed him without needing the heal with a normal because he only had 2 wounds. But I could've used that info today at the tournament 😅 came up once where I didn't heal because I didn't kill him

(Don't stand dead center in the hatchway, that'll get the operative shot.)

I think the intercessors had one potentially game winning play in moving into the middle sector and trying to kill your plasma gunner, very low chance and easily shut down if you just went conceal and into cover first though.

Yeah was surprised he had central control, seeing how he abandoned the mid sector early on it seemed although that assault intercessor had a decent go on his own 😶

May I ask, how can you choose Tac Ops from two differents Tac Ops archetypes? Is this a ITD rule? Because is not allowed in classical kill team plays. (Trying to learning ITD here..)

Yeah it's an ITD thing. There are 4 or 5 tac ops that are not useable ITD so you mix in cards from your other available archetypes to make up a 6 card deck

Is the legion chosen not allowed the plasma pistol and the demon blade? On warcom kill team data pages it lets you build that load out.

Yeah you can plasma and demon blade, that's what I generally go for 👍

Hey, haven't seen the battle report yet but i want to point out that asault intercerssor sergeants cannot have a spcial weapon and a plasma pistol, they have to chose betwen plasma and chainsword or normal pistol and any mele weapon

Almost! They took a Hand Flamer, not a Plasma, and only the Plasma has that restriction. Hand Flamer can be taken with the special weapons.

You're almost right, he can also have a hand flamer or a heavy bolt pistol and a special weapon which is what i've gone for. If you watch the video you'll see he doesn't have a plasma :D

@@GFNGaming Oh sorry, in the beggining card said plasma, and i think that kind of loadout can be pretty unbalanced and make the game less entrtaining. Anyway, I'll keep watching. Keep up with the good work! I'm still really looking forward to continue to see the narrative campaign

Fun. Rule whoopsies are hardly your fault.

Illustrates why there’s still some value in the compendium teams. Not quite so much to remember. So if you switch up teams a lot, there’s less chance of missing a rule.

@@GFNGaming And it wouldn't have mattered anyway. Since the Sergeant didn't save any of the 3 plasma bolts, he would have *just* died regardless of whether he had taken wounds from the fight.
