the only place that i think is worse than driving in NYC is driving in india, that's a nightmare. i live 15 mins from where shmee is driving and once you figure out one simple thing, streets run north and south avenues runs east and west and manhattan is grid system it's easy to navigate around and drive.. also just take the subway you get around alot faster..

Dunno guys. I've driven many times in NYC, and it's really not all thaaat bad. You couldn't pay me money to drive in London, though...traffic moving on the "other" side, steering wheel on the "wrong" side, streets going in every direction...no thanks. I would take NYC any day.

I wouldn't live there if everything was paid for, food, rent, medical....... That's crazy. Too many humans and buildings not to mention the cost of EVERYTHING

you just said if everything was paid for lol but that's driving though, getting around on the their subways is easy and convenient. I love NYC, there's an energy were it just makes the city feel alive. If you're not a city person then yea definitely not for you

I drive in Orlando everyday and it’s bad because of the massive amounts of construction on the roads, but New York is a whole different story.

Don't usually watch your videos but this car is beautifully one of the best looking cars and your tour of new York is amazing thank you for letting us apart of it.

Strangely enjoyable from the tranquility of being home on the sofa watching a nightmare unfold

Gotta love the response from kids, I get that with some of my cars :D I used to drive through London before we had the congestion charge, in whatever sports/rally car I had at the time and I rarely got a response like you do with the Ford GT/ Americans are unashamedly impressed with cars like this whereas the UK, they try to be aloof most of the time.

queens boro bridge. i go through it every day when i drive to work :)

Best time to drive is after midnight, or go to west highway heading uptown. You don't see anyone double parked in Chicago because they have massive underground roads for trunks and delivery cars to go through.

I lived in NYC all my life and me being a Corvette owner I often regret going into Manhattan, but I take the streets near the rivers where there's very little traffic.

Watching you guess which boro the queensboro bridge goes to kinda hurts. I'm not gonna lie. Lol. It literally tells you mate!

I have to admit you guys have more guts then me. I have lived in NY most of my life and I would NEVER EVER drive over the Queen's Borough Bridge it will destroy your car. At least you didn't go on the Major Degan Expressway or the Cross Bronx, the Ford GT would never have survived.

As Shmee found out driving around NYC in any nice car is hell. It is one of if not the most unfriendly car place in the world. Sooner or later your car will get trashed in that place.

I have experience to drive in Turkey, Istanbul traffic. It's pretty much the same.

There are 240 Starbucks just in Manhattan alone.

Why wasn't Tim warned about NYC traffic and the east coast summer heat and humidity?

Driving in New York seems like hell. The roads look to be in horrible condition and other drivers just do whatever they want.

Please... I never get stuck in traffic in NYC. I have usually driven a Lexus gx470, sometimes an infinity qx60 and q50. The trick is you have to drive like a snake, and piss off the people driving next to you because they were/are texting on the phone and you "skipped the line". I would love to see you guys take her on the FDR drive with some drone/chase and follow car footage driving in excess of 70mph (probably the closest thing to the Grand Prix in Monaco.) or the Jackie Robinson they sort of have an exotic race track feel to them with the narrow twists and turns.

No way I'd have a car like that in NYC, I bought a 95 300ZX from New York it was only 2 years old and ALL of the weather stripping was dry rotted from stuff they put on the roads when it snows and Salt in the air.

I guess having grown up here its really no big deal driving in the city. Traffic blows but these 2 are so nervous. The trick is, be an agressive asshole and never back down.
