I love the cutting board. It’s amazing. It looks so cool especially after it’s all done. I mean it looks cool even before it’s done but the end result is amazing. And you do some awesome work. I really appreciate your content. Definitely looking forward to watching more. Thanks.

@user-rk8vn5jr6w Hey, good morning Kristen, thanks so much. I appreciate this a lot but I kind of feel like you are the real hero here. I apologize for the delay in my reply as I was trying hard and digging deep to come up with a reply as genuine and real as your comment is here. I don’t get these very often. People like you really keep me going. I got super lucky with my first ever KZread video and I’ve just kind of kept going since then. I never, ever anticipated this happening but I’m very grateful and thankful that what I’ve done has had this kind of impact and that people like you take the time to really let me know. Everyone wins here and I love it. I’ve been working on several very custom and time consuming special orders for many weeks now, that’s why I haven’t posted recently. I’ve got more stuff in the works and I’ll get more videos produced as soon as I can. I don’t have words to adequately express my gratitude for what you’ve said here. Thanks a million times 🤝

@justindickinson912 Hey Justin, glad to see you back! Thanks for the compliments and your awesome persistent support, I appreciate it. This video is a little older...I still had lots to learn about video editing at this point...but I appreciate your encouragement, for real. The planer is a must have/own when working with the hardwoods making cutting boards, coasters, and other stuff you need real flat. This chaos board was a one off at the time, but man, this thing is so awesome to look at and handle, I'm gonna have to make another one...or couple...sometime pretty soon. I've got almost literal miles of hardwoods for this exact type of thing in stock by now...no space for more really. I'll post the new ones I make on instagram. Talk to you again soon my brother.

@michaelmontero2984 Hey Michael, thanks my brother. This is the Chaos Cutting Board video, but this would be a very legit headboard design, I'll give you that. As soon as we can round up several thousand dollars, we'll be pretty close to having the cost of the wood covered. Gofundme...? Haha, just kidding. Thanks for your support here, I mean it 🤝

Thanks for the video. Great how to tips. I can't wait to make one. I did want to mention that you might want to look at the Howards Conditioner you are using. I don't believe it is food safe. I bought it for some boards and, upon further research realized it is not food safe.

@Sherrie Hickman Hey Miss Sherrie, thanks so much! I later realized this too and have updated the written description of this video to let viewers know it is not food safe. I very much apreciate you taking the time to point this out…Earth and KZread need more people like you making sure we are looking out for each other. Come back and talk to me again down the road and/or feel free to offer other advice and wisdom on other videos posted on this channel. Thanks for your time and support.

I love the way the board design turned out. Very creative. I'm concerned about the finish you used though. I think I found it online and it specifically says not to use for food prep surfaces. I'm sure the board would be fine as a charcuterie board. But I'd avoid using knives in it.

Slick pattern man. I’d add one more thing and that’s a drip groove all the way around the face. That will help when moving the cutting board from the counter to the sink to not spill tomato juice everywhere.

@Stanley Lee Hey Stanley, thanks so much for asking, I appreciate your compliment. I made this with my long time best friend Yancy(Instagram @yancys_woodworks) and we used a table sled to make the 23° cuts on the long strips of stock that were already glued together. We pretty much just eyeballed it and likely should have been a lot more precise with our method of cutting, but they are all eyeball the same angle and we tried to make them about the same width also…again, eyeball free style doing this project. I can send you some pictures of the setup right before we started cutting if you want to check it out. I’m on Instagram C_Love1984. Talk to you soon. Thanks for stopping by, I mean it.
