Quick correction, the winged accursed gift is a 2'' reduction to transverses, drops, and climbs not fly, despite the wings. still stops movement modifiers. no Necrons where flown over still
Easily the best kill team content out there. Videos are always fun to watch, thank you guys!
Love the videos. I have been playing cultists a lot as the people I play against enjoy them as much as I do.

Nightmare shroud is no re-rolls AND can't retain critical hits, can only retain them as normal hits - so that charge & fight against the Psychomancer wasn't 4 damage. Don't know if that would have made a difference, but worth remembering!

@@2CasualYT Thanks, so many rules to keep track of, otherwise 3 damage instead of 4 - likely the Psychomancer is still doomed! I admire your chutzpah, a wild play flying in with him, but better luck next time.

Cultists! Fun to see how the kills in TP1 almost made no difference. I just realized, there's no way to kill a Torment in TP1, and, there's no way to set a trap either (i.e. the front switch point that was made). Going into the bat rep, I already felt the Necrons were at a disadvantage, knowing that Pete pilots lots of different teams (for the channel at least, and not a criticism in any way), and Necrons require near perfect strategy on a good day.
Gah I feel like I've watched everything yall have and I'm always excited to see more videos from yall! Gotta get my games in some how lol
Favorite army abilities for me are definitely Novitiates Acts of Faith, and Votaans grudges. Both just fit the faction lore so well, and both let me cheat- *cough cough* modify dice, which always makes me happy haha

It's a very minor thing, but it's an Apprentek, not an Appentek. It's an apprentice tek guy with a somewhat silly name. Great video as always! Happy to see my two favorite teams right now duking it out.

yeah they shine in ITD, if you can manage not to get shot tp1 you're in a very good place. also global power allocation is really nice
So to mutate it says only devotees can mutate after they survive a combat and inflict damage. I dont think mutants can mutate if they survive said combat sadly :'( But amazing episode as always. You guys and mountainside are my two favorite channels! Keep it up you guys kill it!!!

Woohoo glad to hear it! and no I don't think the mutants can do that either, the keyword goes away as the level up. At least we played that way as if thats what GW inteded.

On T2, the mutant couldn’t digievolve because he had already evolved, he couldn’t evolve after combat because only cultists can

Are you talking about 26:30? Here we explicitly say the cultist already evolved, so they do not get to do it again.

That's the thing, he can't evolve but that's not then correct reason. Only cultists evolve after fighting, not mutants

I don’t believe the mindwitch can cast two psychic actions, Heinous deluge and the vortex in tp3. Also, the psychomancer also can’t do both of the cryptek actions in the same turning point 2. Awesome game, I’m enjoying the cultists even though they need toned down a bit, they’re a lot of fun.

Thanks for keeping a close eye, but Actually they both can. This is because they are unique actions instead of a "preform some psychic ability" action. This differes from the legionary psycher who has the "manifest psychic power" action which subsequently does a psychic power. Unless there is somewhere where is explicitly says they cant. Also glad to hear, I think they are a lot of fun too.

@@2CasualYT the mind witch action starts off saying “psychic action.” And then shows the info, so all those actions are psychic actions. Same with the cryptek, it’s states they are “cryptek action.” So doing one would mean you can’t do another of the same type of action as far as I understand.

@@lyrisshade your describing action types, such as mission action, psychic action or universal action. You can do 2 mission actions such as open door and capture point, in the same way you can do 2 psychic actions. This just has bearing in small edge cases such as vs sisters of silence or novitiate condemner

Turn 2 psychomancer can't fly over the walls because it's not allowed to measure distances through walls in closed quarters

It has the fly keyword, so it flew over the enemies blocking the door, not the wall itself :)

I don’t think he flew over the wall. He flew over the enemy models and still had the movement to make it to that spot. He basically gets to ignore the engagement range of 1 inch. Maybe I’ve read that incorrectly but that’s my current interpretation
