I agree. From what I have seen, absolutely nothing about Chanyeol seems 'self-absorbed'. Honestly, he is so sweet and selfless. Just because someone likes the way they look does not make them self-absorbed. Me saying, "I like myself and the way I look" can either be being self-absorbed or self-love depending on the place it is coming from. When you’re self-absorbed, you’re fuelled by a need to control; when you’re self-loving, you’re fuelled by an appreciation of your worth, and that of others. A self-absorbed person would be too preoccupied with their own feelings, interests, or situation to think about others. That is NOT Chanyeol AT ALL. Despite loving the way he looks, he is always thinking of other people and their feelings as well, sometimes so much so that his own thoughts and feelings take a back seat.

Chanyeol is very good at chat shows, I kinda wish Baekhyun was here cuz he's always hilarious as well

Guys, Chanyeol isn't a narcissist. He's now confident of how he looks and he doesn't have the god complex which makes him think he does everything perfectly. He said he isn't a very good dancer and that's why he was in the back. I truly doubt he's watched Growl that many times and if he has then give him some credit of seeing Luhan, Kris, and Tao in it. Remember he said that he cries a lot but doesn't do it in front of the members, well this is a T.V. show so he probably doesn't want to share a deep sad part of him. Heck the show is called Happy Together. He just likes to joke about his narcissism.

If you understood the Korean culture esp with the hung/dongsaeng dynamic it makes sense why Chanyeol stopped following Suho. Normally, hyungs take responsibility for and protect the younger "brothers" (dongsaeng). Most hyungs are chill and fun, but in this case, serious Suho was annoyed at Chanyeol and told him to stop following him until he knows why he lives. Chan was hurt by the comment and just stopped looking up to Suho from then on. It also doesn't help that their personalities are polar opposites. In Kyungsoo's case, they auditioned together, share a room, are about 1 month apart in age, etc. Kyungsoo isn't so much serious as he is just quiet. Plus they're soulmates, which other members affirmed in a radio interview. haha I'm totally using a biased approach to the Chansoo dynamic. love them so much lol 😆

Poor Suho, so many people picked on him. I think he had a tough time on this show. He is a very under appreciated leader of the group and takes the brunt of a lot of jokes. Sometimes it's easy to shake it off and other times it's not. His imitation of Chen was so hilarious. He should keep doing that.
