Sorry about his passing. I think of my mother almost everyday or week.. Music and the events I can remember about her, leaves beautiful memories we shared...Her death was painful. Take courage in Jah love. No one could comfort me when it happens suddenly. I wasn't even around. Made it even more painful.. But Jah came to my rescue.

1984 was a great year. At 14 I was introduced to STEEL PULSE. 2023 and I'm almost 53. TRUE DEMOCRACY will forever be irie. Can't imagine beating cancer for 15 years without it. Everyone out there try and expose this music to our youth. What a band!!

Arguably the most epic True Democracy track. Saw these cats twice at London's Hammersmith Odéon ~ epic bare foot magic & concerts. Thank you Michael Hines & the entire Hall of Fame Reggae band that is Steel Pulse!

Beautiful song. The vocals, the rythm, the joy. I listened to Steel Pulse in the 70s and just rediscovered. Saw them live in 80 and 81. Huge experience.

I had the same color same bus mine was air-cooled I got a almost brand new back in the 80s and I'd taken that wonderful bus from deep down in Mexico all the way up into Canada several times had a great time in that car wish I still had it today

Mystical true Gem. Steel Pulse are one of Reggaes greatest bands ever, genius!

Probably the group's best album. Saw them perform this in Dallas circa 1984: David Hinds-Lead Vocals, Guitar; Grissly- Drums; (R.I.P) Bumba- Keyboard; Basil Gabbidon- Bass; Phonso Martin- Percussion. Basil owned that bass line. Follow the bass and note the clean cut out at 3:51 then the sweet precision of his reentry at 4:09. Just absolutely beautiful instrumentation.
