This show changed TV in the UK, it was a revelation. I almost didn't know how to watch it! It's seems odd, but it really was that different.

Feels like Motormouth got a lot of its style from this. Also, is it me or does that version of the four score sound different?

+Rob Mortimer It's the "reggae" version, used before music programmes.

C4 began using them instead of the dundas version because every time his fourscore theme played, he would get paid for it's use, therefore becoming too expensive.

What other cool yoof programs did we have like this in the 80's? I'm trying to remember one which had someone snapping their fingers in the intro 🤔

Club X (1989?) was awesome, The Word launched in 1990 I think...almost 80s! Proper anarchic, fun TV. Nothing like the pristine, safe, sanitised toss of today.

It's funny how similar these are to Saturday Live's titles the same year.

Oh no it's not,my Nigerian sister. It was a young woman called Jaswinder Bancil.I wonder if anybody has the Women's Kick boxing episode which I was such a snowflake that I refused to watch it(Women's boxing was banned in Britain at that time-that's why that episode was so controversial).

It's really odd to think how conservative Britain was back then. A lot of attitudes from the 80s feel prehistoric now.
