I am 70 years old and I have been struggling with drug addiction since I was 12. Jesus has always been faithful I have overdosed I have wrecked cars I've almost died of hepatitis C and I'm still alive and he's on the throne and he's finally broken those chains so I know he can break them for you to keep looking up

I was a late bloomer and have been walking through this journey with God for 11 years...I'm 45. One thing I was taught that has stuck with me is that as a Christian our life is like us in a canoe paddling up current, as the water that comes toward us represents the "world". Also if we have no up's and downs in our life it means we are dead. If we face no trials in our walk with God we are on the wrong side. God bless everyone and may you all stay safe in this time of life.

It’s Xmas Eve and all I can think of is all the wonderful happy memories of my childhood and life with my parents. I am grateful , yet so so very sad. I won’t be the same until I see them again. Here to get strength and hope. They were so amazing God, I can never ever thank you enough or measure up to them. My heart is destroyed.

So convicted, after 50 years do i live and walk more like Jesus? I do not fit in the world. I don't even fit in the family . To stay gentle and patience and to weigh words and take thoughts captive; more Word, more praise and seeking after the beautiful Person, Jesus Christ.

I'm 53 years old and I've been on my walk with God my whole life. I might not be where I want to be but I'm definitely not where I use to be! Infact recently I've came to a crossroads ✝️ where I'm going to take leap of faith and step out of my comfort zone to do a different job that has been offered to me. The job I'd be leaving has not been fair to me and I've been taken advantage of however I know the job well and do a great job. The new job I'd have to learn a new skill this makes me nervous I have a stronghold with self doubt and the unknown. I would appreciate prayer for wisdom, confidence, clarity and peace on my situation 🙏 thank you, and thank you to God!

I realized during my teenage yrs God with me about 5 yrs ago. I was in foster home. I started to tell the biokids didn't like me. They thought I was lucky my clothes were paid for. My dad had to pay for them. Things started to get bad. I could tell my boyfriend things. One day foster mother asked if I was close to him. Yes I am. Then she started talking about being too young for kids. I was confused at first. Then realized what she was talking about and told her that was not happening. So she gave me a choice him or them. I chose him. The next day a friend said there someone she babysits for that could use a live in. Cool. I lived there until those parents got in bad fight and I had to call police. I can't remember now about where I went. I was in three homes. I never was nervous or scared, things always worked out at each home when I had left. I realized 5 yrs ago, God was with that whole 4 yrs. I got thinking about school and my fitness and everything and it hit me, God was with me. I did not have a normal teenage life. I just survived. Thanks to God I survived.
