Changing the World through Play

“An adult scientist is a kid who never grew up.” - Neil deGrasse Tyson
As a former physics student/turned game designer, Kai shows us the bridge between learning and play and how important the relationship is between the two. As well as teaching us very important life and social skills, play is essentially a subconscious form of experimentation and discovery - just on a level we don’t think of as ‘work’.
To ‘play’ is to question - our reality, our ability, and our impact. Play is exploration and expression, both inwardly and outwardly.
It can be said that as well as being a means to express ourselves, play is also important to our growth and development. Through Kai’s story, we can see how one does not exist without the other - the two go hand-in-hand.
