Changing the tire on the rear wheel of your NIU e-scooter (by simple means)

The time-consuming part of changing a tire on an NIU e-scooter is not the tire change itself, but the removal and installation of the rear wheel (= motor). If you still want or need to try it yourself, for example because you do not have a NIU dealership nearby, you can find some inputs here.
We do this mostly by hand, because maintenance and repairs with our concept usually take place at the customer's front door.

Quick note. I have an MQi GT. I just did this (wish I'd seen the video, but I got it done, and the MQi is slightly more complicated for removing the under battery pan.) An important point I found out the hard way is that you may have four washers that go on the axle, and they need to go on the right way. There are four washers on mine. Two thick ones with a slot to fit the axle and a tab on them, and two more. The two regular round ones are not the same. One is thinner and one is thicker. The thicker one goes on the brake side. If you get them swapped, part of your brake caliper will rub on your rotor. It'll make a pretty awful grinding sound, and won't go away when you brake. The two regular washers go innermost. After that, it looks like he shows it in the video.
