Ойын-сауық

In the video we go over how to change and select the right step up springs for your Edelbrock Carburetor. They use the terms Power and Cruise modes but the concept is the same. If you need a set of these step up springs they are available on Amazon - amzn.to/3H0TmE0 (affiliate)

Do they make heavier springs than the silver 8s? Those dont seem to be strong enough for my 20hp to overcome my off idle bog

I used the sliver 8s also and I've got 20 hp and they didn't seem to be enough to stop my off idle bog. As far as I can tell they don't make springs heavier than that set though

@@pacificcoast well I got my vacuum down to 18 by switching to timed vacuum source so the 8s appear to be operating properly now. But I am going to have to jet down since I'm pretty sure I'm fouling plugs

So what are the factory ones considered to be?

The factory ones are more conservative, the transfer from "cruise" mode to "power" mode is slower, comes later. The springs I switched to makes the carb go into power mode faster.

@@Struggleville2 so basically you lose that elderbrock hesitation that happens when you romp on it then you get laid back in your seat?!
