I saw many honor guard shifts. Look at the soldiers trained tremendously. They are the best honor guards in the world. I want to say that they are the best of the best in the honor guard worldwide. I was impressed by the Taiwanese soldier.

Immaculate. I believe every gesture has a meaning and utmost respect for the fallen.
I've seen all countries and this is the most detailed, trained, and pleasing. Amazing.

@Timothy Gray In spite of your earlier snide comment, I'm going to be civil to you...at least, for now. I've always considered the Army's drill team to be superior (my personal prejudice from being in the Army, I suppose), but here's news: the Air Force has beaten all other branches. kzread.info/dash/bejne/m3hpycyblNi2kZM.html

I love all things ceremonial/honor guard, and this was an exceptional demonstration. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Reminds me of changing of the guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. I am amazed at the precision and the details in the procession.
I love watching them there so cool and strong thanks for showing do more please

respect from germany
That 1/2 turn @ 1:49 was the truth!! I love their uniforms from helmet (which is the shiniest I've ever seen) to boots. I'd wear those boots in a heartbeat.
I enjoyed this more than the US changing of the guard, I don't think its flashy or exaggerated at all. The movements were all executed with discipline and precision.

Gostei, para mim uma das trocas de guarda mais criativa, disciplinada que já vi. Gosto também muito da do meu país Brasil. E de alguns outros países também.
With all these moves I was expecting they start dancing the "Smooth Criminal".
Strength and Honor. A powerful display of national pride. Respect to these defenders of their nation.
Changing of the guards posses some of the hypnotic quality the sequences of movements of arms feet and the gun create very of sounds from chiming , pounding to the stomping all music to our ears, emphasizes on the righteousness positivity watch more than once almost had the therapeutic effect!
Beautifully choreographed and fantastic precision.

Taiwan's military training is deeply rooted in prussian doctrine. Nazi Germany and the Wehrmacht sent officers and trainers to train the Kuomintang Army to fight the Japanese Empire prior to WW2. It eventually stuck even after the US supported Taiwan after WW2 with their own training and equipment.
WOW
Cool

These guys are really good. Then again though, honor guards are always the gold standard. In my opinion, the Tomb Guards in the US are still the best. It's absolutely pristine in every way, they do it in every weather and situation, they won't show pain to any degree and are avowed to uphold the standard for the rest of their life. Their movements are simple but robotic. Just my two cents. I think these guys use way too much movement, but they're pristine nonetheless.
