I have tried an all in one but also have tried seperate planners. I think I may do a school planner for the kids since I homeschool, a5 rings planner for goals/business stuff and another one for everything. But I honestly go from wanting everything in my binder to have if many different ones because a5 binders can’t hold a whole year at a time plus added pages. It’s a hard decision, for sure. I am a huge fan of EC because of their covers and paper quality.

I was very good. I did not purchase anything for 2023. I’m a C&P subscriber, thus I’m going to let the A5 spiral (love the new format) be my everything. Aside from that I’ll be using a B6, generic TJM journal, and 2 notebooks to keep track of my life. With lots and lots of sticky notes and note pads 😊 I really really wanted the Sterling-Ink planner. And I’m ready to try Hobonichi.

I will for sure. I'm so nervous but I am also hopeful.

I’ve come to realise I procrastiplan a lot! I used Nano to get back into a writing habit so now I’m also streamlining my planning. One paper planner, a writing bullet journal for my projects and Notion. Simple and to the point! 😊

After 4 years in a hotel, I am finally in my own place and able to be back in the planner community. I have been mind mapping out everything so I don’t over do it on the first go. I am already looking at Franken-planning a few Erin Condren planners or putting them in a Filofax like I used to do. I really like using the monthly for budgeting. Also I would love to know more about the Amber McCue course and some of your other mini courses.

@@melissamiller5972 I felt like that a lot while going through. Fortunately, I found some truly good friends that helped me. And not with physical things. It was the mental. I discovered this channel during this and it was more of her talking about her going through, and how she was dealing with stress and mental health that helped me. I started meditating and journaling. I started finding my inner strength. I started working on one thing at a time with just a notebook and a pen. There were nights that I just cried and it was the best feeling ever in that hotel room. I know this is hard but I want to encourage you. I also say reach out if you need it. Find that one person that you can talk to that is just there. I know the struggle is real, you have friends we are here. keep reaching out.

I hope your new systems bring your planner joy back in full! It’s great that you can reflect and let go of things that don’t work for you anymore. I DID gasp when I realized you were switching out the HP plotting notebook! 😂 I can’t wait to see how the Stalogy works for you.

This is the year I've decided to really start using a planner. Between grad school and work, I really need to be more organized. It's good for me to hear that mainstreaming the different "worlds" in one planner is a good idea.

I usually am a planner failure. It's not that it doesn't work. It's that I try and cover too much and fall off the wagon. I am planning MUCH more simply for 2023.

I feel inspired to do a 5 year journal. Keeping track or writing down memories over the years and being able to look back on them all feels so uplifting.

I’ve actually spent the last day creating one for use in Goodnotes for me this year. I never wanted to start a 5 year journal unless I could do it ON Jan 1st. I’m very excited to do it… Finally! 😂

I've been quietly watching your videos for years now. You have encouraged me to keep working, regardless of the setbacks. I started creating my own planner system about 15 years ago. I set it aside when life got too crazy for a while, but seeing all the customization you have done to create your perfect system, I have pulled out those old files and am reworking it to fit my life and career now. Custom planning is something that really has made all the difference for me. Thank you so much for all you do. You cannot know how much it means to those of us lucky enough to have found you. I was wondering, could share what type of paper you use when you print your HB90 pages?

One hour of planner happiness - for a complete pantser girl who never plans and doesn't use planners but simply enjoys you showing us all of yours and talking about them so excitedly, that's just perfect! 100% agree that having too many planner can rob the joy of planning. I love flipping through that full planner at the end of the year and when I have too many it can get a bit spotty

I love to see chunky planners, but i also understand them not being so portable. I tried to get the common planner without success but decided having a Hobonichi cousin would actually be better for my plans next year. I like your planner plans for 2023 and the reasons why your switching it up a little.

I love watching planner lineups! It’s my favorite time of year, too. Especially with reading journals.

I made the jump to digital planners in early 2021 and have never been happier. It is most definitely my happy place. I also found notion not too long after and in early 2022 I began creating Notion templates for personal life and business life - including series bibles (which makes things a million times better). I tried to get my husband on board with the digital meal planner, since I had a spare iPad (an 8th gen). That way, I could just create the meal plans in my current iPad Pro and keep the 8th gen on the kitchen counter. But, he refused to try to learn the system. He’s a simple guy, lol. So, I still update our meal planner on a huge dry erase hanging near the kitchen. But, I do track everything in my digital planner (goodnotes) and notion and it has made things much easier and simpler. One iPad and I can carry it everywhere I go (though 12.9 inches isn’t ideal for travel, my eyes are bad so I deal lol)

Sound like you have a great plan for the new year! I love setting up planners for the year and looking back over my planner at the end of each year. I use a classic vertical happy planner for my life and family stuff and I have custom sheets made (same size) for my writing. I used undated vertical sheets for plotting and outlining. This year I will use my hourly sheets for documenting how I used my time instead of prefilling them and then being frustrated when I had to rearrange them.

I finally watched the video yesterday and I have to say I'm excited to see all the changes you're going to implement to your system! I have to admit that since I moved out in August and all the chaos surrounding my life until now when I finally have a place for myself (though it's still hugely chaotic, boo), I've not kept up with any of my notebooks, and I have to say that watching the video made me excited to get back into planning things and using all my pretty notebooks waiting to be used, but most of all, think of how to use, organize and plan out the ones I am going to use.

This is one of my favorite videos. Love seeing all the planner choices. Looking forward to everything right now -- 2023, seeing how your planning works, and mine (so far HB90 for daily/work, a repurposed, re-dated, old life planner for Tarot, and something for workouts). Just bought HB90 Q1 to get started on the new year early for a change. I am so ready!
