I was a coke addict for 15 years until i was 40 when in the middle of the night my doorbell rang and it was my mom and dad at the door. They drove 800 miles to pick me up from my apt. in NY. They told me to get in the car and not to bring anything. They did let me take my bicycle, fit in the trunk. I was a mess and was at the lowest point in my life. They took me to the mountains of NC where they had retired to a lake house. It's been 20 years now and dad passed in 2008 and now for the past 5 years I have been taking care of my mom who has severe dementia. I love them more than anything and this has helped free me from this horrible addiction.

My wife just called my parents the other night while I was high smoking cocaine. They came to my house at 10 pm while I was high as hell. Totally embarrassing. I had stopped for a few years but I relapsed. I’m 44 I think it’s time I hang it up.

I lasted about three years off of drugs, only having coffee and the occasional after work beers. Went back to weed after it became legal in my state. I'm getting back to that point where I might want to quit again soon, it's just too influential on my life. If I may, I'd suggest just not even going back to drugs of any kind. It's not the end of the world, it's kind of nice but it's just not worth it. I feel like I'm wasting potential one way or the other. When I was totally sober I felt like I was missing that open mind now that I'm not I feel like I'm wasting my time, albeit I'm okay with it atm. 4/10, not really worth trying em again.

I think it everyone there wasn't on Coke it would be a fun place to work, instead everyone is In a bad mood everyday especially if they Dont have Coke to snort In the walk in.

There’s always hope. Never forget that. You have to make a decision that you are not using anymore. Nothing else matters but that sentence. It’s not easy. But you have to change the way you feel about using the substance you’re hooked on. If you can’t change it the way you feel about it, then you have to change your actions.
