Rose, you’re putting the adhesive strips on backwards which is why it sticks to your block so badly. Actually, peal the strip off and place it on a block. Then hover over your stamp to center it and press down onto the stamp. This way, the stronger adhesive is against the stamp and the temporary adhesive is against your block, allowing it to easily peel off. It’s very confusing and took me quite a while to figure it out. I love your videos and appreciate all your ideas!

That’s really not worth the hassle think I’ll leave my stamps on the wooden block!!

I have this set too plus many many other sets that I never mounted on the blocks . So all I have to do is peel off paper backing on the stamp add the sticker then this cling mount adhesive? Have wanted to do this with all my large background stamps eliminating the need for the large wooden block and the old clam shell storage container which would save a ton of storage space. i have this same set! i gave away/sold so many stamps before i got busy and removed some from the blocks! no regrets, tho since SU has so many lovely sets that i use regularly. my tastes and techniques have changed alot since 1997. lol

I have not had trouble taking the stamp off the clear block after converting the stamp to a cling stamp if I take the 2 small backing off before removing the cling adhesive and then placing my stamp on the adhesive. The top side seems to be stickier than the bottom side.

Going to go get a pair of scissors at dollar store to use for cutting around stamps. All my scissors are in good shape for paper and ribbon

What do you store them in after taking off blocks

Could you use wax paper or something to put them on if you store your stamps in a binder?

Hi Rose 🙂👋 I'm in the process of completely redoing my art room, and want to remove all of my wood mount stamps. They just take up too much space. So thank you so much for creating and sharing this video. But could you please tell me if I could use the cling sheets instead of the stamp and seal to adhere the stamp sticker to the stamp? Thank you so much. 😊

How do you store them? I have done this and put them in plastic envelopes with wax paper underneath. I’m not sure that is good for retaining the stickiness.

How do you store them. I. A standard case?
