Inspiring story on confidence and self belief: Once upon a time, there were two twins. Two young girls, who looked completely alike. One thought of herself as beautiful and God’s gift to humanity. The other one, for whatever reason, saw herself as ugly and unattractive.Girl one. God’s gift to humanity, walked down the street and passed by a group of boys. The boys started laughing, pointing and whispering something to each other. The girl thinks she is beautiful. So she assumes they find her attractive and she walks.. no.. she saunters by, full of confidence. - "They like me" - she thought to herself and smiled. Girl two. The one who unlike her twin, who thinks she’s Ms. Universe, thinks she’s ugly, went through the same exact scenario. The boys started laughing and whispering. This girl thinks she is ugly. So she assumes that the boys also find her ugly and her making fun of her. She passes by shoulders slumped and looking down. - "Why are they mocking me?" - she thought to herself and frowned.. Same situation. 2 completely different perspectives. Powerful story, huh? I actually created a KZread video on self-belief, and was curious what others thought of this story. Did the story resonate with you and make you think about yourself and your life a bit differently? Have you ever considered changing your self-beliefs to ones that actually serve you and make you happier as opposed to hurt you and make you disappointed in yourself and life? What do you think?
