@@IrisThatOneGothMf Surprise! The Devs don't actually read the feedback site. Feedback is aggregated by community managers and their top choices are forwarded for action. Votes don't matter, else parity issues like this would have been addressed LONG ago. Follow-up surprise, Devs don't read the bug tracker either unless players engage them specifically for certain game-breaking bugs. That system is also overseen by community managers and aggregated for follow up.

@@Tatokun92 Addons use pre-coded components and scripts to add stuff into the game using JSON files and folders, can be a little restrictive but it's intuitive and easy to learn. Mods edit the code itself to modify the game much less restrictively, but usually require more effort to create and is less user friendly.

It's honestly sad for bedrock players. They have to deal with the sorry excuse of "add-ons" that are highly restrictive and can barely work when combined with tons of other addons. And all the while they have to deal with constant bedrock-only bugs while the marketplace is given more attention above all else. And the sites where addons are hosted tend to be sketchy and filled with surveys and malicious ads. Here's to hoping that bedrock players graduate and start playing some actual Minecraft that can be truly modded to one's liking.
The only addon i wish to see is a flashlight addon, it would make my fnaf security breach and fnaf security breach ruin map way better to explore

@@mamabudgieclipper2735 How do you know that? Are you a mind reader? You can't predict if they would've made those mods free or not. There's only a very small amount of mod devs who try to make cash off of their mods. Most do it as a hobby, not for financial gain.

@umamifan you said I can't tell if they would've made mods free or not I can because of 3 reasons. 1. I've talked with a multitude of mod creators 2. Mojang has to give special permission for mods to be released as free addons so it's easier to make them cost then to make them free 3. Nomatter if it's a hobby or not if you put the time into it you'd want compensation artist do commissions as a hobby and income it'd the same for modders
This looks so cool if at least it's actually gonna be proper add-ons
