@IceManIsaac Good to know it isn't just me. My Envision is doing that crash thing. And almost always at the worst possible time. I've gotten pretty good at the ctrl-alt-del, end task iCue, and then reopen the program. Still sucks. Have you come up with maybe a hardware mappings setting that it will default to when the software crashes?

Also I have noticed that if I shut down iCue before I start playing and then start it back up, the crash seems to happen less often. Still happens, but not as much. I can't swear it's really thing but it definitely seems to happen less often.

@@imChefz I'm like 99% sure it won't work. It utilizes Corsair iCue software for the mappings. Also a lot of the advantage with it is being able to map keyboard key binds to it. That would be basically useless on an Xbox or PS5. As would the g-keys. And it uses a Bluetooth slipstream dongle thing. I don't think that would play well with console either. I could be wrong. People find weird work arounds to stuff all the time. But I'm pretty sure it won't just work unless you or someone else figures out some weird voodoo to backdoor it or something.

Love the Envision. My favorite bind is binding the “R” keyboard key to my left shoulder button for reload. I know longer have to worry about picking up a different weapon in chaotic moments where there’s a shit ton of loot on the ground. This also makes it to where you don’t have to hold your X button to reload when you’re standing on loot if you use the “Priority Interact” setting for warzone.

I have played on these settings for 2 days now. I am stunned. I thought you were crazy playing in 4k. But I said why not, let’s give it a go. I get more consistent frames and higher FPS in 4k! It looks insanely more clear now. Thanks for doing this video!

Thanks for the video. I kept dropping in and it would lag for the first few secs because my settings got messed up awhile ago and I just changed them to yours and the game runs like butter now.

Thanks for all the hard work you put into testing and keeping us up to date! Do uncapped FPS work well for you? It creates tearing for me. I have 7800xt & 165hz monitor and the only way I get smooth experience is by using amd chill 163min-163max FPS limit. In game fps limit doesnt work right.

I had the same problem with my scuff crashing also and there was a reset button under the cover i pushed that hasnt crashed since fingers crossed there has also been an software update since then

To confirm. Season one I had a key bind set to paddle for dive and another for slide. Now in season 2 the key bind for dive only isn’t working. I did turn on the continue sprint after slide as believe they fixed it in S2 as it doesn’t accidentally dive anymore. I have the envision pro. Can you still set back paddles one for slide and one for dive? Also I have it to slide only which is how I had in S1. In S2 do I have to change it to hybrid?

Are you still using the Windows Loudness Equalization ( Release time short) ? I feel the sound is terrible in this season specially in Fortunes Keep.. compared to using this feature in Ashika Island, its just too noisy so I am not sure if this should be on or off in this season? Thank you for your time, Respectfully, I suggest that you keep the power management on normal on the video card, go to program settings, search for your game, and select max power for that specific game; that keeps your GPU idle when you do not play games; it will kick on full power ones you launch the game.

So they fixed the weapon motion blur setting? Used to cause fps drop when the weapon blur was NOT on.

Was there a change preventing the instant dive from working? Controller in notepad registers ] properly. In-game settings match these. Instant prone works, but not instant dive. Worked initially when I got my controller, but shortly after it quit working.

Isaac- are the any graphics or FPS pros/cons to use Fullscreen Exclusive and not Fullscreen Borderless?

What if you have a descent build with 4090 and a 4K 144hz Samsung tv. Would running higher graphic setting be ok since the 144hz tv is the limit? I’ve tried it putting all settings to ultra and still seem to be getting 144fps but would I be loosing any input lag or latency because of the higher settings?

Pretty sure now with the new hybrid setting u have to set it to hybrid to even have dive usuable. I have a button bound to dive but when i selected slide only it didnt work.

Same... im pretty sure he's playing with hybrid selected because when he got to that tab it was set on hybrid. I tried this but I'm diving by accident because I constantly hit my L3 while sliding/ fighting.

Isaac these settings had me at my best FPS output ever at 1440 on a RTX3080. The new 551.61 nvidia update has trashed my FPS. I went back and reset all my settings again but I lost a lot of frames overall. I’m looking forward to an update to this video if you encounter the same issues.

I tried out the new "hybrid" setting and I just don't think it's it.... it definitely is way more responsive but I need to know with 100% certainty whether my player with dive or slide at a moments notice

Absolutely changed my experience. Went from getting 60 ish frames a second to 140 with 120hz at 1080p on my 2060, runs way smoother and allowed me to preform better. Thanks so much!

Great video but I don’t agree with having linear in the ICUE app. I was playing for awhile and I couldn’t figure out why my aim was trash and then I switched to dynamic and instantly fixed it. To each his own though

Ever since the update my envision pro doesn't let me have it on Slide only. My Dive key bind Won't work unless I put it to hybrid or tap to slide. ?????

They fixed the unintended diving. Turn “slide maintains sprint” ON.

Quick question coming out of a slide i have slight delay in letting me prone it works with no delay all other times only coming out of a slide any reason why?

My envision now has a delay when sliding when it is set to tap to slide or hybrid but not if it is set to slide only

The crashing on the controller happens to me more often. Waiting for a fix on that for sure.

I have a scuff envision pro just like yours and Ever since the update I cannot use my Dive button. When I have it on slide only. It only works on tap to slide or hybird. It was working find for me before the update. What am I doing wrong?

Isn’t 3rd person when you are parachuting and go into 3rd person? Lower the better so you can see the floor without going into FOV and turning it down to see the floor.

Has SCUF fixed the issues with the icue software? I bought it and the mapped buttons would not work the majority of time. I sent it back, but am willing to give it another shot when they fix this

Isaac!!! Hope you see this comment. I have an issue where when I open my mini map, I can use all the movement keys except A, W S and D work but I can't strafe left in the minimap... playing on pc. Any idea what could have caused that? I followed your keybinds and everything but have this weird problem.

How are the advance keybinds recognized when on controller. Are they hybrid settings ehoch happen to be in the mouse and keyboard area?

Stupid question, on the prone/slide keybind what is the mouse with a 4 on it? I don't have that mapped correctly I don't think.

I have the envision pro, when I try to bind keyboard mappings, the game gets confused and doesnt let me do keyboard & controller inputs at the same time.

Mine and buddies envision back left paddles both broke already. Weak spot where it connects to controller. 2 weeks waiting for a reply from scuf.

Hey IceManIsaac, can you make video showing how to set up your envision controller from start to finish? I believe a lot of people would benefit from that video especially for those who took your advice and got one like myself lol.

@IceManIssac - The Nvidia Low Latency Mode does not work for DirectX-12 games, and according to their documentation, turning it on for DX12 games can cause FPS issues. Just a heads up, thought you and your audience should know.

yep, if the game supports nvidia reflex then you should not enable low latency settings in the control panel.

So say when I map the D buttons there isn't a way to unbind the controller assigned buttons so if I want left to be my ammo box it still states its fire mode. Is there a work around?

at minute 13, it goes over renderworkercount, its described as threads not cores, is it definitely better to set this number based on performance cores and not threads? thank you!

13:40 i could use process lasso and select the cpu affinity per hand. could be possible the game engine takes wrong cores, esp. on AMD X3D.

I tried all this with my 3080 ti and is it good that my CPU Bottleneck is 0% and GPU is 100%? I’m getting avg 165 fps without losing much of any quality.

IM wondering if the FK frame issue is ram related.. My pc has 32 G but not best specs other wise (11600k +3060ti) and IM getting a consistent 160FPS on FK

So going trough your settings I noticed i dont have the same options as you have. For example in the Aiming Tab you can set your ADS AIM ASSIST, I don´t have that option wich is really weird. Does someone have the same issue?

Since the update even after resetting my keybinds. I still cannot auto dive. I do not know whats going on but this is weird. Even after trying in plunder it seems to just do nothing. Ive even tried different keys for the dive and it still does not work.

so with all your binds set to movement, in order to interact, loot, plate, and y y weapon switch you have to lift your finger and use the traditional buttons right?

also, how do I pull up the damage/kills screen on wz with the envision?

Is it normal for my in-game pings to cancel when I mute my mic with a G key on the Envision? Can't seem to figure out why it's doing this.

Isaac, you played a good part in that movie “night swim”

if you play the game on steam you can use steam's controller settings instead of your normal just base controller and get the same effects as the envision as far as instant slide and instant dive things. You can bind keyboard binds to buttons on the stream controller settings. Me personally I do have the envision because its just so much better but before I was using the steam controller settings and it still works great if you want that instant slide along with instant dive.

How’s the input latency on the envision?

My frames we’re F’ed last night. Needed this.

only problem i have with slide cancelling on controller is that i sometimes go to crouch instead of sliding :/ if i remap that back button to just for slide button, then i miss the slide/crouch button for parachute thing ...any tips for this? ty

@icemanissac Best controller settings for an average player? KD is around 1.00 and lower in this game. Wondering if there's something else to tweak. Thanks!
