📔 ABOUT BOB DOYLE
We live in a freaking crazy time, don’t we?
Artificial Intelligence has exploded into the mainstream, and reactions are varied, to say the least. But for me? I’m all on board! As a creative, today’s technology allows me to take the skillsets I’ve acquired over a lifetime and use them like never before. Instead of feeling threatened by how rapidly seems to be taking of people’s jobs, I see the technology as a way to foster creativity in far more people than are currently tapping into their creative potential. I believe we are here as humans to create. And for me, it’s not an option. If I’m not creating something, I’m dying inside. So Bob Doyle Media is a showcase of my various outlets of creativity, and you’ll see that AI plays a big role in it. From virtual photoshoots and art and animation creation, all the way to voice cloning and face replacement… I play with all of it, and this is where I share it. If you’d like to work together, please reach out. I’d love to connect and talk about how I can contribute to your project.

What some people forget is this is still in its infancy; think Dall-E a year and a half ago, and Dall-E 3 now. Suno, even in a beta release, has been pretty amazing and I've got some great music out of it... not overly impressed when it runs off with my credits and cuts off halfway through the last word of a song, but that's what you get in early stages of computer software. The rate of progress is staggering, all the same.

@@michaelsimonsen2017 I've created a few that I really like (three variations of one of them) but one of my all-time favs was one of the first I heard on Suno called (probably) "Sorry, I am a language model". I'd love to know how the songs get into the Suno "charts" (maybe a hint for a new Bob video?) because I have a couple published and I'm the only person to have listened to them!

You're a gem, Bob! Thank you for taking one for the team and being willing to look a little goofy so we can really see how great these cool new tools are. I am seriously impressed with all of your musical instrument impressions - even the beatbox and we all know how cringe that can get. As an 80s kid who started sampling sound with a dual-cassette karaoke machine and essentially manually overdubbing tracks to get depth and harmony and reverb, a lot of the AI-assisted tech that has come out in the last few years seems like magic. I know that there will always be video-killed-the-radio-star naysayers who think AI is just going to steal human's jobs and turn our culture into a homogenized techno-snooze. But I feel like art is never going to go away. Creators aren't going to stop creating. I think what we will find is that AI becomes a tool that handles the tedious work like organizing and outlining and also handles crucial and precise mathematic work like mastering tracks and adding reverb effortlessly and perfectly, allowing less chance for human error and freeing up more time to focus on the most enjoyable parts of the creative process.

When I stem my voices from Suno/Udio songs and run them through Kits to change, they always cause the conversion to glitch out like Peter Brady singing "Time to Change". The settings on Kits do not matter, always the same result. Probably because of certain effects and "fuzziness" from these AI generations. Is there a way to EQ or filter the vox track first to smooth it out in a way that will then be accurately interpreted by Kits for a good and useable conversion?

I have to say it again: you deserve more followers. I think a way to do this is making something unusual undercover. For example, creating an avatar, and making some music twist , becomin viral (yeah I know it's somewhat unrealistic this part), then revealing the author. KZreadr davie504 made this many times, competing against a female bass player, to reveal it was him self later on. Your talent cannot be stay behind. Can AI help you in this?

The Kits Ai vocal remover does give you the music separate on paid version. The YT vocal cloning is going to be up for debate. They just passed a new law this week called Elvis Act which makes cloning vocals without people’s permission illegal.

I mean, yeah... sure... it's amazing technology. Soon I'll have Steve Perry singing my originals, w/ Zepplin as the backing band and Adele on vocal harmonies. Clearly, that's pretty dang cool, and I suppose anyone who's content with "digital creation in physical isolation" will be well-served by these advancements. But to me... WTF ??? My band plays originals, and we work hard to create our own sound. The absolute LAST things WE want is for our music to sound like "someone else." Still, I'm guessing we'll find ways to explore and utilize these technologies. Perhaps it would be cool to pre-profile/prepare a bunch of virtual artists, then run stripped down originals thru the system to hear how new songs would sound when executed (performed/produced) in different ways. What sucks most is that some kid with nothing to do and zero musical ability (or even interest) can now create a better sounding "finished song" in about 10 minutes than we can make in 10 hours. "The times, they are a changing"... still, I pray the leveling factor for all this techno-S!#!@#$ will always be live music. BTW - most people are not ready for N.G. so it's just as well that didn't work out.
