In this photoshop photo manipulation tutorial, learn how you can use the multiply mode to change the sky. I will show you tips and tricks to make it blend naturally even more!
1. Separate the sky from the subject using any selection tool.
2. Make sure you have done some experiment with contrast, shift edges & feather.
3. Select the Output to New Layer.
4. place the sky of your choice over the subject.
5. Resize it & place it exactly at the horizon.
6. Place it below the subject's layer & make a copy of it [ Ctrl / Cmd + J ] .
7. Place one copy above the subject's layer.
8. Rename the above copy as Reflection & below copy as Sky.
9. Change the blending mode of the Reflection layer from normal to multiply.
10. Apply a high amount of gaussian blur in the Reflection layer. [150-250 ]
11. Place the subject at the top & change its blending mode from normal to multiply.
12. Have some experiment with the Levels.
13. Increase the brightness & contrast a bit.
14. Last but not the least, from the colour lookup option, choose 3dLut File & apply the soft_warming look.
Finally, you have created a great piece of work.
