In this video, you'll learn how to easily change the owner of a Power App with Power Automate and the Power Apps for Admins connector. I'll walk you through all the steps needed to create a flow to change the owner of a single Power App and to change the owner of multiple Power Apps at once.

Thanks April! Shouldn't you use dynamic app name in the "apply to each" loop?
Thank you so much ! Please share one on how to change a Power Apps Model-Driven app owner. This seems to work just with canvas apps.
Thanks for this great tip, April. It came in handy
Helllo April. Great video. I got an error: The user with object id xxxx in tenant xxxx does not have access to permission 'ManageAnyPowerApp' in environment xxxx Error Code: 'UserMissingRequiredPermission'

Even I faced the same issue... Do you have fix for it?
Another great tip there..... Good to know this option is available in addition to using PowerShell. Thanks again.

Thanks April! Have a question here, When I change the owner, does this also create a new SharePoint list in the new owners SharePoint? Or the response is still captured in the old SharePoint? And is it possible to change from the app itself where the responses get recorded after transfer?
Great info...Thank you!!!

Thank you soo much April. I am currently looking over if I should set up a service account for my new employer or if I can finally just use solutions & these types of automations to make succession planning easy even without a service account. This was helpful!

This is great! What would be the way to change owner of a PowerAutomate for if the owner left the company and his account is disabled or deleted? Is there any non PowerShell or non COE way to do that? I can't do it from PowerAutomate admin center.
This is a big help! Thanks April!

Power automate also same change owner or any different madam
Shouldn't you use the App ID from the previous filter in the "Set App Owner" action? Otherwise the loop wouldn't make much sense, if the app id is hard coded... ;-)

You got the idea, she doesn't want to change all David's apps ownership to her.

I wanted to do the opposite of what I did the first go around. I didn't want to change all of my apps to make David the owner which is why I added the extra step to switch them to me instead.

@@AprilDunnam I had the same thought as Martin. Are you saying that, in this specific use case you wanted to demonstrate the process for us, but also limit its effects to just one app? So if I were trying to change ownership of all apps from a former employee to me, I would use some dynamic content in the Power App Name field? I'm super new to Power Platform - studying for the PL-200 - and I want to make sure I understand! :)
