Hamaray paas City Aspire 1.5 2019 full option model hai. Mere dost ne abhi own pe Alsvin li hai phir bhi City se sasti mili aur me uski gari me baith ke hairan reh gya ke zameen asmaan ka fark hai. City ko hath bi nai lgana chaye. Na looks me, na features me aur na hi comfort me koi muqabla hai Alsvin se. City ko ap 1 din bi nai chala skte back pain ke bghair, kindly is range me Aqua ya Alsvin lain, City offers absolutely nothing.

Sunroof and Cruise control plus no tension of aftermarket Poshish. Now in winters we can utilise heated side mirrors as well Now Updated version of Alsvin needs retractable side mirrors, smart entry with push start so you don't have to take out key at any point.

What has been your experience thus far? Planning to buy

I've drove its manual version and its actually a good quality for its price. Its drive is so smooth that i loved it. Its suspension is not as soft as yaris, but not as stiff as city. Overall its a good addition to B segment sedan market.

I bought Lumiere in june. Have driven 9000 km so far. Went to kalam on it with family. Its best in its class. Had no issue what so ever. Drive is pretty good. Couple of my friends have already booked Alsvin for themselves after test driving my car. It's the best car I've owned so far, given the price tag.

Never seen a red Alsvin on road. Good ho gya jee ❤️

In the US, most newer vehicles are coming with adaptive cruise where vehicle accelerates and applies brakes on its own and keeps a distance with vehicle in front of you. I enjoy this feature on a long trip and all I have to do is steer the vehicle.

Salam Sunil sahib. Very good review. I have this top of the varient version. With utmost respect, let me explain one thing here which you mentioned in the video. You said that due to no lights in multimedia steering, one can't find the buttons in dark or night driving. Let me tell you I drove it for 3500 KM and I have got hold of all the buttons of the steering. I operate these buttons, i e. Volume up/down, Cruise control, next track, mute etc with out looking to these buttons. In short, one gets used to these buttons in a few days and can operate blindly. Thanks

Just for Transparency Purposes: Sunil Bhai please always tell us that companies are providing you free cars or you are buying them?. I think Changan has given you a free vehicle as the review was very positive. Free cars can influence the reviews as we are all human beings.

You should mention two major faults of this car too. 1)The main windscreen is second class and it gets fogged a lot. The cleaning with ac/heater doesn't work effectively when it rains. All changan pages are filled with it. Pak wheels should have mentioned it so it gets resolved soon. 2) The main headlight is very dim and extremely straight. On a bigger or more curved turn. You get totally blind. I've been driving it for over 6-7k kms. And I've talked to other owners when I go to tune up the car. It's a common issue in many Alsvin. Also. The fuel average is no where near 15-16. It's 10-10.5 in the city and 12-13 on long routes.

Nice review, as always. DCT is a great transmission for performance cars, its Achille's heal is the stop-go traffic where it overheats. Imo, economy sector cars are best suited by a manual transmission or automated manual like the AGS of Suzuki, followed by CVT, then torque converter automatic and last of all the DCT. Only time will tell if these DCTs will survive the Pakistani market. Overall Alsvin seems to be best car in its category, its good looking with great features. The Yaris looks awkward. I hope Alsvin is able to provide a good SSS network and make it a success.

@@muhammadumer2070 Yes. If your driving is regularly in stop-go then DCT is not a good choice. Ask any Vezel user, transmission overheat is a problem in these vehicles. I have no experience with the customer service of Alsvin but if they have sold cars in other markets where there is congested city driving and they have accordingly modified their auto transmissions to handle this, then they should be fine. In the US, every car comes with at least 3 years or 30k miles warranty which is enough to bring out the flaws under warranty. Korean cars have 10/100k miles warranty on their powertrain. Unless you are covered by such a warranty, its better to avoid being the test mule.

@@akhaqan Vezel had a dry dual clutch AT. this is wet dual clutch AT. there is a difference and if you are worried about frequent gear changes in low speeds in traffic or hilly areas then drive in manual mode to avoid constant gear changes and clutch slippages this transmission offers that option as well which is non existent in any other car in this segment... Plus CVT also faces worse year and tear in these situations which you described here because its literally a steel belt slipping on 2 pullies one connected with engine shaft and the other with excels which adjust their sizes as speeds increase or decrease! A lot of CVT gear boxes from Toyota & Nissan fail after as low as 50k kilometres in UAE who operate in high traffic area on a regular basis. Figure it out please.

@@adeelraza2337 Actually no transmission can take the abuse of stop-go traffic for a long duration i.e. over 15 minutes. The question is which transmission can take it the best. Imo, the manual transmission does it best. All others can be ranked from more worse to less worse. For DCT, I don't think that a wet or dry clutch matters, its the basic technology which is inherently not designed for stop-go traffic. Unless its a wet clutch DCT with a transmission oil cooler, you are looking at premature failure. I am not a fan of CVT either, a lot of drone and high rpm during acceleration is disliked universally. Torque converter autos also can't withstand stop-go traffic and get burnt easily, good cars have heavy duty transmission oil coolers to tackle this, that's why police cars and taxis come with heavy duty coolers (and alternators etc). This is just academic discussion, if you are driving a mix of stop-go and freeway, you should be fine with any transmission. At the end of the day, the engineers who design these products are pretty smart and good at what they do. As I said in my first post, if its such a sturdy transmission, Alsvin shouldn't shy away from 3/36 warranty.

@@akhaqan Your Augment is inherently flawed that manuals are best for stop go traffic! Not only its hectic and tiring to drive in those situations, hence people opt for Automatics who face that on the daily basis, But also the manual gearbox clutches face highest stress and due to that wear and tier! Most Pakistani cars require clutch replacement within 30k to 40k kilometres no matter how experienced driver you are with Manuals! And due to this inherent flaw not only the manufacturers globally remove it for warranty coverage but also has opted to stop offering Manual options altogether with only a few Sports specs being available in Manual variants. Even in Pakistan, Now only some Old school uncle drivers opt for Manual option now if they haven't experienced an Automatic yet in there life. Or if the higher speccd car is just out of their budget only then some opt to go for it. Otherwise almost every middle class family is looking for a decent Auto transmission car which has caused the price of even used 7th Gen Civic or City as well Corolla GLI, XLI with Auto transmission to almost Double in last few years. And a lot of people are going for engine and transmission replacement going for Automatic in almost every car possible even in Pakistan! We can see Mehrans being coverted to Auto, Old Cultus, Baleenos, Old Corrolas! everyone is shifting to Autos!

2x points missed in this review. 1st steering adjustment Tele Scopic and up down available or not? 2nd floor hump in rear seats cabin area?

yes it has height adjustment i(up nd down) in steering and there is no hump in rear seats

My 86 corolla (swapped with another engine & automatic gearbox) has O/D option. Usually on long drives like highway or motorway it shifts to the 5th gear at 70km/h when the od is off. I find it underpowered/irritating to drive on long routes because the car cant pick to 100+ from 70 in 5th gear. Therefore i use the o/d frequently on long drives. I switch it ON when i stop for something. So the gear does not change to 5th at all. After reaching 80-90, i switch it OFF & the gear shifts to 5th. My query: is it normal with everyone? Secondly, is using o/d while the car is in motion & at high speed alright/safe?

Yes it is normal to turn off in hilly areas and city drive for better fuel economy where last gear (in your case 5th gear) is never engadged. It is primarily used during highway for higher speeds. You can safely turn on during driving.

Alsvin is classified as in a segment of Hyundai Accent or Kia Cerato but it is also way cheaper than its international rivals. This 5 seater sedan vehicle looks decent and stylish. The interiors are also comfortable and provide adequate safety features. I especially love the exterior design of this car which has smooth edges almost giving it a fluidic look. All good things aside, the performance of this vehicle is good and the price point is actually pretty good.

I have received this car in January 2022. It's a good car indeed. I have experienced one issue after it has completed 1000 Km that is its trip meter comes to zero automatically without any manipulation or indication. I can't trace my trip. Is there any other owner experiencing this. How to resolve?
