Amazing comparison review I really like that you mentioned size, what it fits and the prices difference. I love the vanity I wish it came with maybe a bigger CC in the front, I have a rectangular mini but between vanity and mini square I’d really like to get the mini square for that classic look. Great video. I don’t see many reviews on the vanity case. Can the strap be adjusted, say if we tie a knot on the inside of the vanity case?

Thank you for the amazing content comparing both. Amidst the price increases the vanity is a steal. It is also better in terms of quality because the classic flaps easily lose their side structures or show poor craftsmanship

I would probably say the small vanity is more comfortable because it’s caviar and therefore more carefree 😊 however the mini square is easier to get in and out of because it has the flap (not zippers like small vanity) 🥰 thank you for watching! 💕

It’s a lambskin from the 19A collection so about a year old now 😊 it’s worn really well, nothing negative to note - but you do need to be more careful with fingernail scratches on the lambskin ❤️ lambskin really is a beautiful and luxurious leather.

When u wear the vanity case on ur body and u open and close is easy ? And will ur stuff fall out while u doing that ? Or it still sit perfectly in cross body ?

It is easy to open, and because when you open the bag you hold the bag nothing falls out 😊

I was pretty fortunate that I was the first person to pop in to look at it as soon as my SA sent me a text letting me know that it was in store. Just good timing 😅 they are very hard to come by though, I know a lot of people are on the search!

Loved the comparison. I really prefer that Classic mini square but can't find it in the Chanel AUS website. Do you have the link or is it discontinued? Looks pretty similar to the mini flap bag though. Thank you

It’s absolutely a beautiful bag, and the price from the boutique was really very reasonable so if it’s something you really want then it’s your call whether it’s worth paying a premium or not ☺️ I’ve seen resellers sell the small vanity for nearly double 🤯 Thank you for watching! 🧡

Thank you for watching! I’m 164cm/5’4 😊 the vanity is surprisingly smooth and easy to open. I was concerned about that initially given the strap is attached to the ‘lid’ of the bag, not the sides, but I don’t find it awkward at all 💕

This is an awesome comparison video. I love the vanity, however when in usage, does that mean that when you open the bag everything is just hanging there? Like over time the items can fall out of it if the flap bit starts to crease more? Since the chains are not attached to the bottom part of the bag all the weight is on the top bit of the bag. Thank you for your input, and congratulations on the new piece :)

Thank you for watching 💕 I don’t think the way the flap suspends will change over time with the mini vanity. The compartment is deep enough where the items stay inside 😊 As with any bag, I wouldn’t recommend walking around with the flap open though. Xx

Thank you for this comparison! I live in Houston, Texas - so a big hello from Texas! My SA at Chanel has put me on the list for this vanity bag months ago, and then they closed the store and she has let me know that she has not forgotten, but until they open again I cannot get it - so frustrating. I love this piece and think it is one of the best ways to get a Chanel piece without spending crazy money, especially now! The Chanel stores here in Australia closed for 3 weeks and will be re-opening from Monday onwards for appointments so I’m guessing they are slowly easing into going back to normal trade. I love all the other colors of the small vanity I’ve seen on ig, especially the purple because that’s my favorite colour! But regardless, I would have always chosen black first. What color are you hoping to purchase?

Yes, from what I see the mini vanity is teeny. My general rule is a bag must fit a phone, otherwise I won’t go for it ☺️
