the maxi is not designed to be worn as a crossbody. the jumbo has longer chain and therefore it can easily be worn as a crossbody.

You can definitely get that fixed. There’s a leather sealant, get it in a gloss finish. I do it on my own Chanels.

Thanks for your video and honest review - GORGEOUS BAG!!! What Percentage %% was the import fee from The Luxury Closet please? I paid a 10% import fee on an LV bag from Japan, and want to avoid getting hit with another "surprise" fee - thank you in advance for your help!!!

For this bag I paid 389dls, ouch, I know :/ and I paid 3,668.98 and I recently bought another Chanel for 2,598 and paid 168 in import fees… I don’t know exactly on how much the fees percentage is. But I try to prepare myself with at least $250. However I think buying thru Japan sellers is still cheaper than buying thru the real real or thru fashionphile. Just cause their prices are insane.

@@dv3rsace Thanks so much for your quick reply - I heard import fees from UAE were 10-12%, so it's interesting that your 2nd Chanel had a much lower percentage rate applied? Apparently items under $800 don't get hit with the fee? But of course the bags that you and I are interested in are never that cheap, right? Haha

@@sstraw7224 yes items under 800dls don’t get the import fees anything over, yes, I know sadly I have to prepare myself for those fees, and we’ll I try “eye ball” it with the fees, based on those purchases, since I’ve had a high and I’ve a medium purchased I know I’m looking for another one priced at 1,400 I’m assuming it should be around the same , maybe 200dls. Roughly . And yes the bags you and I like are over that 800 limit lol

Did they charge you with the import fees at checkout? Or was it charged later on?
