You can get a similar look with imperial moon and just add some olive to the shimmery shade to get something closer.

The lip cheek pots are my favorite! I agree they are better formulated than coco baumes. Everything looks beautiful on you! Def picking up Purple and Brick ❤

Never bought a case before but it’s stunning . Went for the 62 lipstick. Undecided about the 69 as brick red not best on (pale cool ).

Hi Lexi! The limited edition quad is gorgeous and has me swooning! Such a beautiful color story. The lipstick from Guerlain is beautiful and looks amazing on you!! The lip/cheek balms are so pigmented and look so pretty on both cheeks and lips! I would prefer on the lips too. ❤

That Guerlain lipstick looks really nice. It appears to smooth the lip lines. Seems to apply better than other lipsticks(comparing to the last review of new Dior). What do you think? You are one of the hardest working people on KZread. I know it takes time to gather all comparable items and swatch everything. Love that you show us the product actually ON the lips! Thanks!

I personally think Guerlain satin lipsticks are probably the best satin on the market overall. There are so many great lipsticks around but theirs are always good. (I think there are better velvet formulations though like Dries van Noten, Givenchy, and probably the new Dior but time will tell with those.)

Update: just picked up this palette it is stunning. Thank you Lexi for the wonderful review and the extensive swatches. I have 3 lip and cheek tints and love wearing them in winter as they feel moisturising on my skin and give a natural flush. The new colours are lovely and i am leaning towards the bright coral. I am also tempted by the new Limited edition eye palette just for that special shade. I am trying to be discerning with my purchases this year but Chanel is being hard to resist with their launches so far. 💙🇦🇺🌸

You are right, they are very similar! I can't believe I forgot about that one! I like the Hermes but I prefer the Chanel. I think it is a better price and the greenish hue in the last shade really makes a difference imo.

Hi Lexi ! Thank you for demoing Chanel’s new Éclat de nuit quad - I saw it yesterday, at my local Chanel counter but I did not pick it up because I had not seen it on you yet. I did pick up the Les Beiges quint in Cool - because it looked “wow” nice on you (and it’s a great companion piece for the LE quad that was launched last spring). Of course, I am now planning on picking up the Éclat de nuit quad as it is definitely a “wow” !

I purchased it after the Chanel counter rep applied it on me - it makes my hazel eyes pop. I also picked up the white primer - I now realize I have to go back tomorrow to check out the Lip and Cheek tints. Thanks again!

My cherry blossom case and Cherry Bloom lipstick arrived yesterday from the Guerlain website. The case is perfect. You’re right. The lip shade is a little bricky. It’s lovely but I was hoping for a hint more pink and more creamy opacity. But I’ll enjoy it with the right blush shade.

Happy New Year Lexi. I hope you have a fantastic year ahead. As always, a wonderful review. I am so on the fence these days with eyeshadow. I'm 60 now and have have Year old eyes, if you know what I mean 😂. As such, eyeshadow application is just becoming that much more challenging. I usually only wear makeup to work, and I'm always in a hurry (usually because I have slept in). But I am very tempted by this palette, in part because the there are some nice matte shades in there. It's also reminding me of the Hermes fume palette. What are your thought? If it is a bit like the Hermes, it would be a cheaper alternative. I have a couple of things on order from the Les Beiges collection - the pinker blush, the beige primer and the pink nail polish. So I'm looking forward to those.😊

You are right, the colors are similar to the Hermes. I think the Hermes shadows are nice but not amazing for the price personally. I would go with the Chanel over the Hermes. Enjoy the Les Beiges collection!

I am going on my low buy for makeup again, well i am trying again lol 🤪 Chanel quad its so close to Holiday look, which i love and you read my mind, yes i though right away about LE Vega as well. I dont have any of those blushes, but to me they look sticky and in my humid climate, its not great . And i just finallypurchased Les baigęs winter glow collection. I got eyeshadow, blushes rose & mauve , and frosty primer.I wanted icey beige as well but was sold out. I also thinking to get both nail polishes. I love new Chanel polishes. They dry so quick.. I haven't tried any of the No. 1 Chanel line, I hope to sometime. The formulas seem awesome, and the color products seem enticing to a younger demographic which Chanel seems to have nailed (judging by sell-outs 😩😉). But I am firmly in the Sublimage line due to mature skin. Your swatches are so helpful! I picked up the Frosty White primer and compared it to Le Blanc Healthy Light Creator. They smell the same. The Le Blanc seems to have a more opaque look as I am smearing it, as if it has a touch of titanium dioxide. The Le Blanc is more an instant gratification moment for Asian clients who want their skin a half shade brighter...even though the product doesn't really do that after dry-down. The Frosty White looks less milky upon application, but after dry down the two products look very similar.

It's the Guerlain Cherry Bloom.

The Eclat de Nuit quad is beautiful, it arrived last Saturday here! The sort of black colour is a bit different on me, like a bit grey, a bit taupe, with a little bit green glow through it (i'm not half as good in this as you, describing what i see on my hand 😂). But loved the video, dear Lexi, i think i skip the Chanel lip/cheek, because for lips i do not use such very "present" colours and for cheeks i still have so much, but they're cute!!! Thanks, and have a wonderful day!!!😘😘😘😘

If you don't have your lipstick in it yet, then there should be a clear sticker in the middle holding the two sides together. Otherwise, pull out the lipstick and the mirror should open.

I ordered the Guerlain Cherry Blossom Lipstick & Case yesterday and this morning used your Surratt discount code on the Nus Sublimes palette. 💐 I also think the Les Roses palette looks so pretty! Just got the new Prada Reveal foundation in the mail last night, shade MN40 for Light-Medium, cool rosy undertones. (Ordered through Harrod's before I knew it was opening in the US soon.) The shade is a great match. It is definitely going to get a good wear test today as we are headed on an 8.5 mile Coastal Mountain Hike! 😅 I'll be incredibly impressed if it holds up through the day! My first purchases of 2024! 😊🎉

Yes!!! Lol. 😊 I do like the Prada foundation. It seems to have a very nice blurring / filtering effect, good staying power. Not heavy on the skin. I think light-medium coverage. This shade was a great match. Although it's called 'Medium'; I'm a definite 'Light Medium'; so glad I ordered a deeper shade than normal.

No, the ones I have from Addiction don't really have the greenish hue which I think makes them pretty different but I love taupes so I might be nitpicking. I hope you love the quad!

Unfortunately Purple Energy is very different. It's way brighter and more berryish. The Armani 60 is a nice alternative. Armani 61 and the Suqqu skew a little cooler than the Chanel actually is when swatched.

Thank you! My arm probably just has some residual shimmer from removing swatches. I used the Bloomeffects cleanser which is a little moisturizing. As for my face, it could be the Chanel frosty white primer that you are seeing. My moisturizer is the Tatcha Indigo Overnight Repair. I love it during the day in the winter.

I think they are very different and I love them both. The Chanel is definitely more neutral and the greenish hue is very subtle while the Cle de Peau is more of a real olivey green palette which is not as suitable for some people. People who look great with the green tones will love the CdP but I think the Chanel has a broader audience. The Chanel Blurry green is more similar to the Cle de Peau than the Eclat de Nuit.

That Eclat Nuit palette reminds me of the ND Mini Glam palette. The mattes in that palette look different in the pan, but on the skin. they are very like the ones in this new Chanel. Deep brown instead of black, but one shade is that army green shimmer. It is such a dupe that I don't need this palette, although it's lovely. I have #6 in Guerlain, so thanks for comparing. Where did you pick up you pr Cle de Peau lipsticks in the fancy gold case? I can't find it anywhere. The Topaz shade is my kind of color. Did you get that one?💚

Oohhh that quad is gorgeous and exactly what I like…neutrals but with a special twist in the pewter shade. Why would they make it so extremely limited? I bet it would be a perennial best seller in the permanent line! Don’t you want our money, Chanel? The cheek and lip look absolutely lovely on you. I’m seriously thinking about getting one, although I think I might be too oily for the formula.

There is a floral perfume fragrance. It's not overpowering but if you are sensitive to that type of scent, it might bother you. It actually makes me think of a floral skincare product in terms of scent.
