This is an amazing scent but the price is stupidly high(not their fault) and you can get similar scents that are cheaper. Versace pour homme in the dry down is almost the same. Missoni Wave with vanilla almost resembles this one. And I've never heard anyone mentioned this but Only The Brave EDT whose co-creator is Polge's son, also shares a lot of similarities. This type of scent(sporty, masculine, fresh, oceanic type) doesn't have to be this expensive. Chanel Allure Homme Sport eau extreme is, if you leave the price behind, still amazing with that vanilla accord plus peppery note. I had one, love it but never intended to get another because of variable amazing alternatives.

Yeah those are great, but closer to Allure Homme Sport, which i find less good to this one. But yeah, Chanel is a premium brand that isn't selling themselves to large corporations so their prices are justified imo to maintain quality and not sell out

I love Versace Pour Homme but hell no it's even close to this masterpiece. Its price is justified, it smells amazing. And the price tag is what it is mainly to gatekeep the fragrance from people who don't want to spend a buck.

@@exxie1 yeah, you are right. They are two different styles. Chanel Allure Homme Sport gives a modern take. It's Versace Pour Homme but with a little bit depth, a little bit "power", definitely a confidence booster fragrance. Also there are mint and pepper, something doesn't exist in Versace Pour Homme. VPH is, classic as it is, it's Jude Law topless wearing shorts and sun glasses driving a Vespa in Venice like in The Talented Mr Ripley. Chanel dressed up, Versace dressed down.

I agree this its very good!

I have the EDT version, and can confirm the performance on it is also lacking compared to my other freshie Dior Homme Sport. First time I smelled Eau Extreme I got more prominent creamy notes while the EDT had more fresh notes, and so my girlfriend decided to gift me the EDT. :D She also loves it very much, it is her favourite fragrance out of my small collection.

I just got it, and I must say I love it. It is pricy but if your looking at Chanel ANYTHING you know it's going to be expensive cause well duh. I always say stay within your budget can you get similar scents for cheaper of course. But something about Chanel frags is they have a touch of something I can't really put my finger on. Some describe it as elegance idk. When I just spray it on its very minty, but as mentioned innthe video catch a nice wiff in the air it's totally different and the trail you leave is just intoxicating l.

Yes, Chanel has a class to them for sure. This is actually around the same price retail as the average designer fragrance now adays. I think it's expensive because unfortunately it has to be bought retail I dont mind paying retail for Chanel. I am happy they keep their company privately owned and dont sell it to mega corporations who dont care about the product

It's 130 euro for 100ml in Europe. Same as Valentino and every other mainstream designer. Actually, same price as the new Profondo!

I just got a decant of AHSEE and IMO it doesn’t live up to the hype. It’s only been my first day wearing it so we’ll see in a few days how I feel, but so far I’m not a huge fan of the opening but it’s not bad (just not as smooth as I thought it would be), and it pretty much became a skin scent after an hour or so, so longevity and projection is not doing it for me so far. That being said, I would catch some of those base notes radiating off me now and again (I wanna say the Tonka bean and cedar wood), and that smell was truly pleasant. Very smooth, relaxing, inviting and addicting. If it projected and lasted longer with that scent this would be a full bottle purchase for me. Like I said though it’s just day one so I’m gonna keep trying it because I really want to like this fragrance.

Had it got rid of it. I’ve gotten rid of so many fragrances. I’m really picky about what scent profiles I like and that’s why I think my collection is so small. I know this says it’s a woody aromatic but to me it isn’t and that’s my favorite scent profile citrus woody aromatics.

Eros flame is not creamy sweet and very on par with the rest of the Eros fragrances. Just with a brighter opening. They are different, although they share similar notes

please make a review on mancera red tobacco vs intense red tobacco and on cedrat bose vs intense cedrat boise

I can agree, and i wouldn't expect beast mode from Chanel. This is very good!

The scent is so premium, but the performance is lacking. if u have cash to splurge then buy it but if you're tight then there are many better performing frags out there. I wish they made a parfum out of this, like they did with bleu de chanel.

I would keep the eau extreme because Missoni wave smells closer to the normal Allure Homme Sport, which i like less than Eau Extreme. All are VERY good though!

Both 5-7 sprays for daily. Or 3 sprays at the gym, on each side of neck and under shirt on chest

Good review but i heavily disagree about fresh scents not needing strength. Seems like a cop out. There are scents that are beast mode and fresh. Poor performance should never be justified in perfumes that cost $100+

Thank you, but if you're buying a fresh, clean fragrance in any sense, nobody will think you're fresh if they smell you across a whole room.. These were not designed to be attention grabbers or perform like clubbing scents That being said, the performance on this is pretty good for what it is, and it didn't bother me. I am also someone who likes heavy performance, but only in fragrances it would make sense to have. And if you are just buying fragrances for the performance, idk what to tell ya!

@ChadSecrets at this point, yes, performance is an important variable in the equation when I'm deciding to buy or not to buy. And yes, subpar performance can be trumped by a great scent (Dior Eau Sauvage, I'm looking at you) or a low price (Dunhill Icon), but all things being equal, I won't buy a bottle - I have more than 300, at last count - unless the fragrance delivers on all fronts. I have no problem if other collectors dismiss me as "not serious" for it. I buy fragrances for myself, for my enjoyment, which cannot be had if a fragrance disappears on my skin quickly. Plus, the market is so small in my country that getting anything worth having, especially niche or indie, requires a flight to Dubai.

But I will not be adding one unless it smells both good and performs good. There is no excuse as to why a freshie can’t be both. There are freshies on the market that do last. Any they almost always best sellers. Performance = more compliments.

Had it, didn't like it. Returned it back to Nordstrom. The mint and pepper was too strong. I can never smell any citrus on this. Where is it bro? Where is the mandarin? It's not in this fragrance. Just mint and pepper. Very meh at best. Super dissapointed.

A well blended fragrance is the same way. It dosent have to scream at her to get her attention. It whispers to her to come closer and she does and she doesnt know why.

@jamessorensen2001 i have fragrances triple the price of this that unfortunately last less. Longevity does not dictate price in this industry, unfortunately. Usually, the more naturals used, the more expensive it gets, and less longevity comes with that. Wish it was not the case

Most overrated fragrance imo. Smells like if you dipped baby wipes into chlorine pool water then squeezed the juice out, that’s what you get in allure homme sport Eau extrem. Acqua de gio profumo is way better, or hell even even the regular allure home edt is better than any of the flankers.
