I think you got the blue mini 22. Were they able to fix the problem with the chains rubbing on the leather? I hardly see any video of the mini and if it had any issues. Thats why I held back getting the lt. grey mini 22. But honestly the pink velvet hobo is so girly! If I were a girl I’d get that. Good they improved on the strap of that hobo bag. I tried the old design and you cannot cross body it. I’m pretty sure when 23k comes out next month a lot of women would go nuts over the camellia collection! I’m just not sure about the hyped up “mini Kelly bag”. To me its giving me retro vibes but not in a good way. Your 31 shopper is way better than the new “mini Kelly” in my opinion.The original Chanel Kelly still looks more classic. Yehey! My sister today was able to buy the multi pocket vanity for me but in black. I wanted it in dark beige but she already went to 2 boutiques (CBD and in Bondi Junction). It was the only color they had. ❤❤❤

Hi Bryan!! First of all CONGRATULATIONS!!! That multi-pocket vanity is very beautiful!! The dark beige is super popular this season so I'm not surprised that sold out very quickly. I think the larger 22 had that quality issue, but I haven't heard anyone talk about it with the minis. So I'm hoping it wont happen 🤞 The pink velvet hobo is definitely a VERY girly bag haha. I love the new strap for sure 👌I could crossbody the one from 23c but it looks a bit bulky as it sits quite high. But I imagine you are taller so it doesnt work for you. I actually don't like the camellia collection 🙈 I already have a camellia bag from 21b and it is so much better than the ones releasing for 23k imo. I am also not into the kelly bag.. It looks like a lady dior, wants to be a hermes kelly, so has a real identity crisis 🤣 I adore the mini 31! I have been using her a lot!! I’m still iffy getting a mini 22. I would have a problem returning it because we don’t have a Chanel boutique here. Remember that yellow phone case that you showed in your previous vlog (Metiers d’Art 23) that had the cracking on the tab of the flap? I had that in a dark beige that I got in Barcelona. Thanking my lucky stars that the leather and sewing is ok. Its just a tad bit wonky. Why do we get sucked into buying Chanel when the quality is down spiraling? Yes when I cross body the old hobo, it’s up to my chest. And I realized its too feminine even if its in black caviar. Hahaha!!! Lol on the schizophrenic description for the new mini Kelly. Lady Dior wannabe. It looks like a bag that literally Barbie the doll would use. They just added the chain to make it Chanel esque. 💖💖💖

So it's probably good that your sister got you the black caviar multi-pocket vanity, otherwise the colours will be very similar. I honestly don't know why we still continue to buy from Chanel even after seeing shocking quality issues 😅 I would get discouraged but then new collection comes out and I get sucked back in again lol. How tall are you dear? Is the woc good length for you? I really dunno what Chanel is trying to pull with that mini kelly bag.. Trying to capitalise on the Hermes name 👎 and you are right, it looks like a kid's bag 😧I wonder how much Chanel will charge for it haha

@@queenofdiamondsamy For a guy I’m not that tall at 5’6”. Yes my favorite bags are the WOCs and its the perfect length for me. Well just a bit longer for my liking. This will be my first vanity. I don’t have any classic flaps for the simple reason that you cannot cross body it. I’m not drawn to the ones with the pearl crush either because I missed up on the ones with the simpler mechanism and still with the interwoven leather on chain. The recent designs are very girly for my taste like the heart and the camellia. Although the original flap style is very gender fluid the bag will look too girly if a guy wears it as a shoulder bag. Its as if his girlfriend asked him to carry her bag if that makes any sense. 😁😁😁 I have quite a bit of black bags in my collection and I’m really drawn to more neutral colors lately. Even if I wear bags designed for girls, I still have to be mindful if it will stir nasty looks from the crowd. 🤔🧐🤔 I got your point with the camellia bag from 21b. I admired that coin purse in black with the one gold petal. I saw one on the preloved market from the Korean website but I’m not sure if its real because Korea is very notorious for their super fakes. I even saw a milk carton bag from the 2014 collection (grocery fashion show) that was dirt cheap and all the crystal lettering were still intact and the price was oddly cheap for a collectors piece. Those would have been nice keepsake pieces! Can’t wait for your bag unboxing! Love your black denim jacket! You wear it well!😁😁😁

I'm lucky the small cf still works for me crossbody 🤭 but I'm a shoulder bag girl! That and handheld are my preferred ways to carry my bags. That's why I really love top handle bags! I think you made a great choice with that vanity. It's in caviar which is a massive plus! The pockets also make it a bit more masculine imo! Hahaha I know exactly what you mean about the bag looking like his girlfriend asked him to carry her bag 🤣 I get what you mean about people might judge you if you wear a girly bag. A lot of Chanel bags are not the best unisex bags haha. I would always say wear what makes you feel good and feel happy doesnt matter what others say. But it's hard as what other say will influence how we feel 🫠 I also don't like the pearl crush. The old one is very heavy, and also the leather chain always gets stuck. It's not the easiest to adjust. It's much better when there's no leather but I think they made the chain too light and cheap looking 🙈 and yes the heart pearl crush was too girly even for me hahaha! Oh you know the camelia bag I'm talking about 🥰 yes so I'm good. I also don't like the colors they coming out with. Eeeeek I would be very wary about buying bags that are priced too good. That's usually a red flag 🚫 if it's too good to be true 9/10 it is haha. Like Cosette 😅 I would not trust them, their prices are just too good to be true. Do you have any collector's bags?
