I love how Vulcan advertises its the choice of professionals. Every pro and amateur says it’s a trash ball. I’ve played with it once and it went out of round in one game.

Vivian David has been in the gym. She looks to be in the best shape ever. They are fun to watch.

I knew the result of this match before I clicked play, but watching David/ Wilson fight was great!

I sure hope some body can step it up to give AL and BJ true competition. It'll be great for the spectators and the sport.

I think Sock and Parenteau can beat them once Jack gets more professional PB experience.

So Thomas Wilson serves at around 35:20 and comes to the net to handle a drop. But he volleys it. What am I not seeing or am I misunderstanding about the two bounce rule?

It looks like this is due to video edit... Wilson was actually returning serve from Johns. You can tell b/c both Anna and Ben are also back, which wouldn't be the case if Wilson was serving.

At 31:42 Wilson hits a "let" serve. He then re-served. I thought there was no let serve in pickleball. Tournament rule?

Sort of. The pros re-play a let, the amateurs do not. If the serve goes into the kitchen including all lines it is loss of serve.

I thought there is no longer a let call rule according to the rule book but the let calls still apply on this match at 31:40. Can someone please explain?

Would be so great to be able to mute the tv commentators. They are SO unnecessary! Detract from the pleasure of watching the play.

Why does Wilson run around his backhand dink? It sometimes puts him out of position and his forehand dink doesn't appear to be so fabulous as to justify it.

1st point in a final you serve the ball long... 🤦

At minute 19, you can hear the commentary comparing pickleball to tennis. Every match i have seen this happens. Why? It's a different sport. You don't hear this in tennis commentary. Is Pickleball still leaning on tennis to get popular?

So unfair to have waters and Johns on a team. crazy
