I think it’s less blatant than you think it is. I don’t think meraki anticipated Ben to make that move in the first place and thought he was pulling out. He probably also thought that Ben went for a dive after that because all he saw were the red arrows. But it’s still on Jake.

I know this is a semi serious league but there needs to be some sort of independent race stewards now. From the Mexico incident to Silverstone to what ever the hell Jake thought he was doing in Belgium, it’s clear you can kind of do what you want to gain/defend position. Obviously can’t rely on code masters penalty system so id like to see some form of penalty given out for over the top incidents like the 3 mentioned.

@@Hydraav2 I think that there is a balance. Obviously the midfield guys shouldn’t be scrutinised. But the front runners with how sweaty it is, should have some sort of ruling and would lead to better racing. Just one guys opinion

I've been saying exactly this since the end of the first season. It's hard to watch knowing anything can happen, and they will get away with it. The league is too competitive to not have stewards.

​@adamevans7740 that's just it it would keep everyone from driving questionably. Also slip stream is a little different than pushing off the championship rival. It was pretty obvious he was even looking in his rear view camera so there's not a chance he "didn't see ben"

That's completely on jake no idea why he thought that was a clean defense he saw you and continued to turn in. But well done for p2

Racing incident if anything, on Jake’s onboard he is predictable cause he keeps moving to the right the whole time, Ben should of done with Thomb did imo and lifted off throttle and went to the racing line as Jake’s line was compromised cause of Thomb

Only thing is that 90 was justified because 89 was confirmed to be biased to Prost

watching the incident back at half speed you can see a second move to the right after Jake's car had returned to moving in a straight line. This was just as the red marker to show Ben's position alongside his rear tyre appears. The second move was unpredictable, and Ben could have definitely made it through (albeit with a couple wheels on the grass) had that second move to the right not occurred. IMO Jake's fault on that one

My thoughts too. I can see what Jake was trying - to defend Thomb, then defend Ben, but you can't make two moves like that.

Give him a DT for turning into somebody and GAINING 7 sec. on Ben by doing so. Would have finished in p7 and Ben would have had a p4 winning on Countback...

Honestly Ben, I'm sorry for what happened, but it serves you well for always sacrificing qualifying in order to have fresh tires. You didn't even have tyre advantage for the whole race... With the pace you had if you started P4 or something it would have been a different race.

Yep Ben screwed up playing it safe during qualifying but Meraki would have had a penalty in real life, that’s a double move for sure

In hindsight, with the improvements in the field, keeping extra softs for a late safety car was not the play. If you could have got into Q3 and started 5 or 6 places higher, you're in the championship mix.

Just came after watching season 6 of creator series. This is one of the best videos of Creator Series and I hope this is how season 6 will go down

Then again as much as i have followed the series is not alot but it more seems sometimes like touring car type of contact is allowed and moving under braking etc also allowed. It’s not a super serious league like WOR or PSGL. It should be obvious by there being a drivers voice chat and drivers from different teams communicating

Definition of a racing incident. Reasons: - Can argue that Meraki moved a second time to defend, forcing Ben off track - Can argue that it’s Ben’s risk to attempt an overtake, when two cars are already battling ahead - where would he go after? he’d have to brake on the grass, with two cars on his outside. Basically, both guys are RACING and both guys collided at the fault of each other

That's a tense season finale right there guys! For the people saying that Jake is totally in the wrong and that his move was unfair, I'll go back to Silverstone where others said the same about Ben's driving and Ben's supporters said "bro it's not that deep". Guess what? Jake's move wasn't that deep either. The people upset about that incident are the ones who have never driven a competitive league race in their life. That pure, hard racing man. These things happen so fast, I don't think there was any malice or intent involved. In saying all of that though, for Creator Series to go to the next level a panel of stewards would definitely be needed and I hope happens.
