    oh no doubt that they do, it happens often, which just shows how many talented/hard working players there are. But the top Chinese players still nevertheless have generally the best winning percentages in the Chinese League. The point the point I was making to the other guy was that there are tons of hard working players in China, they train like crazy, so there has to been something that separates the top National team players, and thats talent not that they necessarily work harder

    hmmm trust me, the people who represent the Chinese National Team are insanely talented. They just happen to be also hard working. China has thousands upon thousands of amazing table tennis players, all working their butts off, players like Boll, Ryu Seung Min, Mizutani, when they play in the Super League lose to no name players. What separates Wang Liqin, Ma Lin and Wang Hao, isn't that they work any harder, but that they ARE talented. You have to be to stand out among so many Chinese players

    They most likely have two different sheets of which one is more suitable for smashing.

    thousands probably is an overstatement, an overstatement I was just using to get my general point across. The general point is nevertheless valid, when Boll played in the Super league he didn't have that great of a record, thats at least already 60+ people who i would say have a 30-50 percent chance of beating Boll, who at least some other top players, Boll being the top nonchinese player may have it a little better.

    then there are probably a few hundred that can beat the non chinese players in the top 15. Granted thats far from a few thousand, but that was just overempahsis of my point. The Chinese government doesn't have to expend that much resources actually, aside from the ultra talented like Ma Long, there are tons of players on the national team who only make the team after a certain age, like 15, before that the kids are taught separated through their own funds. Plus its actually not that expensive.

    I don't see how my comment says nothing. The comment I responded to, claimed that Qiu is talented, but not hardworking, whereas the people on the national team are just really hardworking, implying that they aren't talented. So my comment was to say that yes they are hardworking, but they are also just as if not more talented, and hence that is the reason why Qiu isn't on the national team. As for your question, it would say Boll will probably win 50 percent of the time, maybe a bit more

    @Bossiiiii the fact that the government is corrupt really has little to do with this issue. And of course, its not possible anywhere else, because no where else is table tennis as popular. You can say that about a lot of different sports and their respective countries.

    of course they have the best percentages, theyre the top ranked players in the world. the point I was playing for is that that comment says nothing, hao could lose to the player ranked 900. what do you think the odds would be for say boll against noname chinese around say 60?

    Apolonia is spinning out of control. It looks good his loops! But he moves so unbalanced, he could learn from Waldner or nowadays Timo Boll.

    your comment said nothing. anyone can win against anyone. so why are they ranked 60? are they not playing on the tour for some reason? I wasnt talking about qui anywhere,

  • @Stuffcakes
    @Stuffcakes14 жыл бұрын

    If you sincerely think he played better, i dont think you know much about table tennis. Just because he defended well in 3 long rallies doesnt mean tiago was better. Qiu put so much pressure on him, that he was forced away from the table during the entire match. He was outplayed.

    why do the chinese always change the side of their racket when they start smashing qiu yike did it all the time does anybody have an answer ?

  • @scylla24
    @scylla2414 жыл бұрын

    um why did my comment say nothing? I would say it said quite alot, and judging from the fact that people rated your comment -8, as opposed to mine being +7, i would say most people agree with me.... so why is who ranked 60? and who isn't playing on the tour? the other good Chinese players? because ITTF only allows a certain few players from each country to play. Otherwise it would be pretty unfair, if you haven't noticed the ITTF has a history implementing things to prevent China from dominating

  • @scylla24
    @scylla2412 жыл бұрын

    @Bossiiiii hmmmm I would for the most part agree with you for most of the world, but in China, thats not the case. The top Chinese players do make millions. I think you make an average living playing table tennis, as if you worked an average job. You also have to consider that chances of making it in tt, is probably better than chances of making it in football, since its way more competitive in football, since the whole world has so many players

    Waldner beat Qiu Yike in 2005.Apolonia is nothing special,just another Bundesliga player with little aspirations other than making good money from clubs.The Bundesliga sucks all energy from players and they can never focus on evolving their game.
