Bredda Jamaicans don’t support local club football like that they mostly come out to support the national team . Only clubs like tivoli gardens Waterhouse and Mobay united will get any kind of support it also didn’t help that the game was played on a Thursday night

This problem follows every Jamaican team as the pace of local football is very slow and when they come up against international club sides even those from Trinidad and the Hispanic countries they are always found wanting . A methodology needs to be found to raise the pace. Level and quality of the passing. The fact that cincanatiti goals were expertly crafted also shows a lack of nous. Craftiness and football iq missing in the Jamaican game these days. the mid 2000s had far better players which also means the current crop of players are a far cry from what was there before

In the US, they send the Open Cup champions, the supporter’s shield winners, or runners up if they also win the MLS cup playoffs. There’s also the conference champions based off points (runner up if the supporter’s shield is from their conference) plus there’s the new League’s Cup between MLS and LigaMX

It's shocking that a team who are perennial champions or challengers for the the JPL title cannot attract a crowd of 100 in their own national stadium. Is this indicative of jamaican football fans or Cavalier are a club with no defined support from a particular area of Kingston?

@leroysmart9363 they produce and send players overseas so the talented players will always want to stay there because they will get a better opportunity of going abroad but in terms of fans compare to other clubs cavalier isn't well supported
