Nah yall are tripping in this reply section. AQ is pretty busted rn and LP is still much better. LP needs a max dps nerf of 250dps -> 200dps if not a health nerf.

They just need to fix the monks special wtf he gonna do with more hp you don't play the monk for his cmbt skill. But God damn does it piss me off when I activate him but he still fails to reflect arrows, and fireball cause he was in the "splash" range. Not to mention the ludicrously slow activation timing.

That's the biggest problem. Golden knight is actually a really strong card, it's like a knight on steroids that can chain through enemies like a lightning spirit, but it's not a strong champion. If you have a whole collection of sub par to reasonably good champions, then add one freakishly OP champion that completely dominates the metta, that one is obviously going to see more use than the others, but if you make it so you can only use one champion per deck then the OP champion is suddenly the only champion
New champion concept: The credit card. DPS: 400 Health: 3000 Abilty: buys every offer in the shop and makes you deck OVERLEVED AS HECK. Elixir cost: $500.99 (X 400 value)

Card Idea: The Ice Cream Golem. Costs 2 elixir. Has the same HP, Damage and speed as the ice cream golem. Targets buildings. Cards within 4 tiles of it are effectively invisible. Troops and buildings can only target the ice cream golem.

So, the golden knight. I'm not gonna say it was a bad nerf, just not as big as I thought it would be. Let's take the archer queen, which had around the same ability cooldown as the buffed golden knight. The old archer queen was WAY BETTER then the golden knight buff. The difference is that the archer queen had a better ability, and stayed in the back so it wouldn't get hit, along with the invisibility. The Golden knight stays in the front, and has endlag. A stun would be nice for the golden knight dassh

Golden knight dps should be increased so it can be a reliable tank killer and also 1 shot goblins. The ability should not be changed as it might randomly teleport to tower like before.
Hot take: Monk should do more damage when it reflects something, for example a rocket that gets sent back will do 1 level higher of damage perhaps kind of like a mirror so it would work with other items like gob barrels as well

I don't think that solves anything. Monks issue is not that reflecting things is too weak. In fact reflecting something is already really strong if it happens. The issue is: If it happens. In many cases the ability doesn't do anything and can be avoided. It's supposed to force your opponents to make worse decisions and it's not effective at doing so right now. It's a control card that doesn't control anything in many match-ups. The other issue is that little prince is still busted and queen is very good aswell. It's difficult to justify using monk as a champion instead.

I still use Monk. The reason it isn't good is because you have to understand when you need to pop the ability, how to use it in a certain situation, and how well it combos. I've ran the same deck for nearly a year and have been able to push from Serenity Peak all the way to Dragon's Spa, and even with level 15, I still can beat them. Monk requires thinking, but I still think it is decently good when you know how to use it
A good nerf would be that when the Little Prince dies, the guardian goes away or like stops attacking and kneels and say something like "I failed to protect the heir"
champions are accessible to very limited players due to them being obtained at the very top ladder, hence many midladder player dont have em'
I don't know why supercell don't buff the golden knight to a 7 seconds recharge of the ability.
The gold knight was good in the beginning but you can't nerf a card that hard
The main problem is regular people can't use them often because they are under leveled for their arena and ladder decks. My highest level champion is 12 but my deck is 14 and 15

Agreed. I would 100% use little prince instead of archers (I don't have the evo) but Level 13 isn't good enough to justify it.

Golden knight actually pretty good as regular card rather than champion card. Imagine have unit that have dash ability like bandit but can dash to multiple unit. Monk actually good as regular unit/card. His ability suck but instead as regular unit, give him passive whenever he down to 50% health, give him 70% damage reduction for 3 second.

Tbh Golden Knight is a little underrated. You’re right tho, he feels more like a good regular card but is mid for a champion. He just feels too squishy imo. He gets countered easily by any mini tank. Not to mention his dash is weirdly inconsistent because some troops jam him up really badly. So I’d say the buff he’d need is a 5-10% hp buff and a more consistent dash to really feel like a champion. Right now he’s basically a 5 elixir bandit or a 4 elixir under leveled knight. But I will say if your enemy is using witch or rascals he’s hilariously fun lol

It's because it is very underpowered in the game right now. Has ok hp but low damage, no dash range (and also chain range) and is super easy to counter. Unless they change one of the stats I said, then it may be good but rn, it's the joint worst champion in the current meta

@@RocketWH it's just not viable in the current meta with all of the goblin drill Evo bomber, lava, graveyards... Even in mid ladder he gets no value because everyone plays 4 tanks in 1 deck I'd love to play with him more but he is weak af rn

Bad idea for one reason: current champion cycle is 3 cards. With two champions, it becomes 2 card cycle. Cycle decks would abuse this for cards like hogrider, miner, or firecracker

Little prince is still used.
Golden knight's ability is so weird. Something that I think would help it a lot is 360 degree radius and like a small period between dashes where he can lock onto other things, basically so he can counter goblins and stuff. I also think decreasing his effective hit box range will also be pretty good, because right now he doesn't connect against big tanks, mainly bowler.
i mean, on the one hand you said most of them are alright and only two are really bad and then you say most of them are useless, that makes no sense.
This is just what happens when the way you balance something is through oppurtunity cost, unfortunately. I used to play pokemon showdown a lot and the same thing happened when megas dropped

I think they need to revert close to their original release stats because those were mostly before evo and would allow more variety in the meta. Then make it two evo or 1 evo + 1 champion
I have a couple new card ideas. 1. Barracks Elixir : 6 Lifetime : 30Sec, dies to Poison or better Type : Building Spawns 3 Troop Type Units, each different units respectively, with a 15Sec Cooldown, from a basic selection (Barbarian, Musketeer, Knight, Royal Recruit, Giant, Guard), with slightly lower stats from their Card Counterparts (5% less HP, 10% less damage, 10% less range) I believe this card could be good for events or defensive play in higher ladder, perhaps for cycle decks that need decent cards pumped out at good speed. 2. Minion Den Elixir : 4 Type : Spawner Building Lifetime : 20Sec, dies to Fireball or better Spawns 3 Minions between 10Sec Cooldowns, and 2 upon death. This card's gimmick is that it is situated in the air, meaning that it's safe from ground troops and must be taken out by spells or air troops to be dealt with. While it may be lackluster on Tank Defense (i.e Goblin Giant), it can still distract cards such as Lava Hound or Phoenix while spawning what is a quite consistent defensive card in the Minions to aid on defense, or to be a huge pesterence when left unchecked on offense. I think this card could 100% be a great addition to the game and even be a huge help in tons of decks if used well.
the golden knight and monk should be higher on paper as they could counter alot of the evolutions rn but the problems are the golden knight does no damage the monk (imo) isnt really made to well imo i would make him 4 elixir with his ability being 2 elixir witha slight duration increase
This is because a lot more people have little prince then the rest of the champions, and those who have them all, know they aren’t really good for decks with strategy and competitiveness
Skeleton king is very nice in Royale Giants decks with the tomb stone.

I still think skeleton king should get a bit more dps, because i think that the giant club he uses literally gets outdamaged by a literal bird
We also have to realize that most players in clash royale have not unlocked champions yet and clash have away lil prince for free in lower arenas
I prefer little prince being in the meta way more than archer queen, even in their current states, as a hog eq player archer queen is a nightmare to deal with
Seeing how SuperCell buffed some champions (Example: Golden Knight and Archer Queen) there is hope
Monk can take me by surprise and totally turn a game with one ability since i play xbow. Mighty fits well in hog eq which i also play in challenges. I also feel mighty will eventually make its way into xbow decks but i cant seem to find a way to make it work. Archer queen feels expensive to play and queenbow gets crushed in this meta. Skeleton king needs some love or a shift in the meta to be viable in more decks. Overall i think that besides LP the others just have too niche of a spot, while LP fits in every archetype.

OK, serious concept for a Champion. Vagabond - 7 Elixir. Spawns a singular swordsman with fast attack speed, high damage and decent HP (15% more than a Bowler at similar level), along with the speed of a Cannon Cart. Every 3rd attack becomes an AOE slash that deals 25% more damage. If aerial units are attacking Vagabond, he instead stand still and throws his sword at the enemy in similar fashion to the Executioner. The form is changed by determining the total Elixir cost of every enemy in a 5-tile radius around Vagabond. If there is a 2 elixir difference between detected ground to air troops or vice versa, Vagabond changes form within 0.3s. He defaults back to melee when locking onto a tower, and can't change his form until he is dead, tower is taken, or he is disrupted with more than 3 elixir worth of aerial units in his 5-tile radius. This change has an inner cooldown of 3s. This works by accounting the individual cost of each hostile unit in range (ex, a singular bat is worth 0.2 elixir, same goes for a bat spawned by Night Witch, e.t.c... Buildings count as a ground unit.) Ability: Sword Dance - 3 Elixir. Summons two clones that remains behind him. Clones smites the enemy in the fashion of a mildly stronger Zap upon death. If they survive for more than 8s, the clones dash forward and strike everything in a line for medium damage and medium knockback (enough combined damage to kill a Firecracker). Clones target the *weakest* enemy within a 4-tile radius when doing so. Role: Superior push and very solid defense, decimates hordes on command, but low survivability on his own relative to his cost. The ability significantly boosts his firepower and warrants an immediate spell use, but has a hefty cost as much as he does. Jack-of-all-trades, tricky but devastating. He is also notably weak against units with high burst damage like PEKKA, Sparky (or spells like Rocket that could instantly obliterate him) or units that can slow him down like the E-Wizard, Ice Wizard, e.t.c... Vagabond himself is however resilient to most spells like Fireball, Poison, e.t.c... as expected. Add him to pushes with strong WC like Golem, Hog Rider and Goblin Giant is extremely hard to defend against, but also costs you hefty Elixir if the momentum is somehow killed. Stats (On level 11) Melee Form: 225 Damage, 0.35s per attack in the 3 hit combo. 3rd attacks has the AOE of a Mega Knight hit. 0.75s delay between each combo. Ranged Form: 150 Damage x2, total airborne time is 0.7s (0.35s per length of the trajectory traveled). Has a 0.1s delay between retrieving the sword and initiating another throw. Has 75% the radius of Executioner's axe. Ability: Clones has 65% of his damage and has 1 HP. Smites enemies for 202 damage in a 4 tile radius (enough to kill goblins). Lifespan expiration dashes of the two clones deals 150 damage each, aimed at the weakest unit within 3 tiles and stretch 4.5 tiles. Has the radius of an Executioner's axe and half the knock back of the Log for each hit, along with a travel speed of 10 tiles/s (basically instant).

@@notrobot2He is intended to be complicated, but he really isn't. He's just a much stronger Knight combined with an Executioner. The switching part is what makes using him tricky, since the opponent can deploy bats then plop down something like barbarians to cook him. He's also very vulnerable to anything with high damage, but keep him and his clones alive for 3s and you can kiss your tower goodnight.

Also theyre VERY difficult to level up- I try to use little prince in my deck but getting it to level 13 is going to be a drag, especially considering how EVERY. SINGLE. CHAMPION. I GET. IS GOLDEN KNIGHT. I HAVE NOT EVEN UNLOCKED ARCHER QUEEN OR MIGHTY MINER. but with LP being so low level honestly I sometimes just switch him out for archers which I can max more easily

I partially disagree. While the LP is extremely versatile for a 3 elixir card, o still think other champions still have a certain niche they still fill in certain other decks, it just means the LP overall needs to be tuned to a point where it is like the other champions or the champions below need to be raised to that level. Honestly, I would go as far as to make the LP 4 elixir instead of 3 simply because 3 elixir for cards as a whole is inexpensive, which is why LP is so strong. Another route the could go and do is have it die to fireball.
Nerf Little Prince's HP by 2% And decrease his range by 1 Tile
New card idea: Giant snowman- 4-6 elixir champion Ice cards like the ice spirit would heal it even on the opposing team It would take 50% more damage from fire cards Its atack would take 50 health from himself to make a snowball and throw it Special ability would cost 2 elixir and would throw a giant snowball but takes no health from him with splash damage Stats: 5000 health 120 damage 1 fire rate Ability atacks 350 damage with nockback Would move 1 tile a second And would spawn 1 ice spirit every 5-10 seconds

HOT TAKE : LUMBERJACK IS UNDERRATED Lumberjack has good enough hp and does so much dps and the rage at the end can kill swarms too It is mainly used in lumberloon decks but i think lumberjack is way more versatile and can be used in many decks in place of valkrie knight etc.

It just has low health so usually you want a really specific reason to use it. Most of the time the reason to use it is something that wants to have rage like balloon, ram rider or golem pushes. I don't think you should play it anywhere else because it makes your defense worse and doesn't help for offense that much.
Hot take: Champions should remain death because the 3 card cycle mechanic was flawed since the beginning, mostly benefiting cycle decks and encouraging spell cycle. Just keep nerfin LP until he useless like the other champs.
"monk is not that good" as someone who plays monk i can tell you that he's THE most op champion. He counters every single ranged troop in the game. Hes not meant for attack but defense. Try saying hes a "bad champion" when he solos a push and stops you from taking spell damage simultaneously in overtime 😭
Luke, since you keep suffering from knowing songs that you like a lot but fail to recognise where it's from, why not try a "Try not to sing or dance" challenge instead? It will most certainly be more enjoyable for you, while having arguably higher difficulty, even for us viewers (mainly because Sasageyo and LiSA exist)

Many people will probably disagree with this, but I think monk is actually pretty good. considering that many cr players are rlly stupid, once in a while they shoot a spell at my monk by accident during its ability. Also, monk is the reason why I got out of midladder

Half of the people in the game aren't using a card because it is terrible. That doesn't make any sense.
This take is bad imo, while I agree that the little prince is the best by a wide margin, skeleton king is used in popular meta decks such as the egolem pump deck. Mighty miner is easily the worst champion right now, and is the only one I would say needs a large buff. Golden knight is still slightly underwhelming, but monks buff was enough to make it viable. Archer queen never really fell off as much as the others.
