Idk what they charge for the job I just know what they pay me for it. I sand primer with 400 grit and go up to 800 grit my blend is 800 grit. And I preciate it.

Isnt a spray out card for checking the colour ? before you commit to a 600cc cup of expensive paint...

Nope. I did a color scan and it said it was this color compared to the other. That was why I picked that color and come to find out it was wrong.

Looks good, you’ll get the colors down more and more. The number 1 variants 9 out of 10 will match, on that color, you may want to do a let down panel, cause it’s transparent. I know you said I’m last video that they recommend the rp or HTe type guns, it’s cause with the new water Bourne tech, Thai guns atomize it better and allow faster dry times, yiu can use your other hvlp guns I do with the onxy hd, and be fine just make sure it’s good and dry before clearing or you can have delam issues down the road.

Ask, get you a walcom fan jet blower, works better then what they gave you and a infrared temp gun, take a temp before base and before clear, you want the base to be at starting temp before clearing, that’s how you know it’s dry enough. After a while, you can tell once you get used to how it looks. And use a wetbed next time.

If you have the camera, it’s really good at matching, don’t be afraid to use it. So far I’ve had really good matches from it.

@donproctor4480 yeah I have a jet they gave me. I just need an adjust valve for it and I do have an infrared light at home. And I always use a wet bed for this paint system

Preciate it. I bake it at 160 degrees for 20 mins.

You should use the camera every time with 100 line.. other wise you are guessing and that slows you down for sure.. I’ve been spraying 100 line for a year now and the better you get with the camera and looking at the spectral curve the faster and better you will be.. no messing around like you did on this one

You are also using a lot more material than you need to use. I’m not hating at all so don’t take me the wrong way I’m just sharing knowledge bc I have sprayed this amazing system longer than most people out there

Yeah I have the system down packed now. This was my second job with the 100 line on this video. Now as we speak I have no issues with colors and all that stuff but yea this was my second job with the system was still learning it at the time of this video.

How do i blend chameleon paint its green blue and teal when looking at it at different angles or do i have to paint the whole car again if you have a email or a way i can show you lmk any help would be greatly appreciated

So u having blending issues with the champagne color. Question is what paint line u using and is it water or solvent??

I guess now that you're using the Glasurit 100 there's no chance to see you spraying with the Sagola 4600.

All of the spray guns will work its just knowing the best settings needle size and plan of attack, its always a change when switching line of products but they all result in the technicians knowledge, keep doing yo thang champ i been doing this 16 years and its always a new learning curve between products and tools.
