Chameleon/Mica Powder-Dirty Pour Bloom-Did it work?
TUTORIAL DESCRIPTION:
In this video I am going to test the dirty pour bloom with a chameleon powder and a mica powder. I am using Lets Resin casting resin, purple mica powder and a blue, purple shift chameleon powder. I am also using the Lets Resin Ocean white pigment paste with no sinker white alcohol ink. If I try this again, I would definitely use the alcohol ink. I backed this in Black using Eye Candy black pigment paste. #resin #resinart

I'd have to say that is the most stunning bloom I've ever seen. You did the purple, then the white & then teal. This bloom looks lacy & delicate. I love it Mary, you've done well. You should be very proud of it

Not teal, it's a chameleon powder with a purple to teal shift.
This came out beautifully. Looks like a mysterious antique! Purple is always best!! Enjoy your visit
When you turned it over I actually gasped ..lol .. that's GORGEOUS
Gorgeous bloom, love the colours. Thank you x❤
Love this. Chameleon makes all the difference.
I can see it...the colors are GORGEOUS!! I just still dont care for how it covers the whole piece. To me, when it covers the whole piece...it looks less like a flower, and more like just a pattern. But you did a GREAT JOB, Mary!! One way ive noticed others get the petals more even...when you pull your tool through the resin...draw your first line, then one DIRECTLY across from it...and do this on ever line. So say you start at 12 on a clock...pull it to the center...then do 6 and to the center...9 to the center...3 to the center. After you do those main 4 sections...split them in half, but always mirroring the one you just did, on its opposite side. If you do this by ballancing it out like that...the resin pulls clean, even petals...if you just do them by going around in a circle, the resin seems to bunch up in certain spots and the petals are uneven and just off. This is also a great way to make sure you dont miss a petal, because you always do 2...straight across from eachother. Sorry that was so long-winded...i hope i explained it ok. 😊
Love the purple one - the flash of the chameleon powder is awesome! I also like that, even though it has white in it, the white is subdued and not so bright.
Wow very pretty love the design and colors ❤
Great job Mary! Very pretty
That is gorgeous, I love how the purple has shown up so well. Brilliant
Beautiful! I'm not sure about your set up now, the lights really reflect off the acrylic sheet you have over your mat. Terri
Wow! That’s stunning! ❤❤❤
Love the lacy petals this one came out so pretty💜💜💜 Like it much better than the 2nd one.
STUNNINGLY BEAUTIFUL Mary. I think it's your best so far, I love the colors, especially the purple. I would love to see more blooms in other colors, too. Take care and enjoy your sister's visit. ❤😊❤❤❤

Thank you Julie, we were on the same wave length with our blooms. Yours was pretty as well.❤😊😍
You got this down Mary! Gorgeous bloom- layering was purple, white, chameleon! Love it better that you did not add a center blob of glitter or something. Would love to see you mix it up a bit with other things between these bloom pieces, but that's just me.
Oh my is right. So pretty Mary. ❤❤❤

Thank you Stephanie, you should give it a whirl. ❤
Beautiful! I have a question. Do you have to have the white to do a bloom ? Can you just use powders ? I have yet to have a successful bloom 🥲
You layered it: purple 💜 white 🤍 Chameleon I think you need your white less opaque, but this did come out well 😊
