The market is more volatile than ever. I've been holding cash since '20 pandemic crash, but just went "all in" bought up $250k worth of ETF's & individual stocks at discount, and hoping to average down on ailing companies, in order to achieve passive income and early retirement.

A colleague once proposed the idea of diversification to me, hopefully for positive results to offset any negative performance. At once, I backed it up using an advisor in order to avoid any fiasco. As of today, my portfolio has yielded over $450k in profits, from an initial $180k this year alone... maybe you should do the same.

I agree, that's the more reason I prefer my day to day investment decisions being guided by an advisor seeing that their entire skillset is built around going long and short at the same time both employing risk for its asymmetrical upside and laying off risk as a hedge against the inevitable downward turns, coupled with the exclusive information/analysis they have, it's near impossible to not out-perform, been using my advisor for over 2years+ and I've netted over 2.8million.

“If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their money, first by inflation and then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around them (around the banks), will deprive the people of their property until their children will wake up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered.”-Thomas Jefferson

Here is the entire quote: "If the American People ever allow the banks to control the issuance of their currency, first by inflation and then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around them will deprive the people of all property until their children wake up homeless on the continent their fathers occupied. The issuing power of money should be taken from the bankers and restored to Congress and the people to whom it belongs.I sincerely believe the banking institutions having the issuing power of money are more dangerous to liberty than standing armies." The real issue is who actually said it. It's often connected to Jefferson, but this is not fully substantiated. Regardless, the substance of the quote is accurate and compelling.

People get enticed by super low interest rates to buy things, then they raise rates to sky high levels so people can't pay for things they borrowed to obtain. Now these things can be acquired by the elite for pennies on the dollar since the average Russian serf (you and me) can no longer afford them. Amendment #17 was passed eight months before Federal Reserve Bank Act was then passed. #17 changed to electing senators instead of the state legislators choosing the two senators. It's been a constant stream of legislation to centralize power in DC and NYC which goes against all the US Constitution stands for. All we need to do is strict reading of constitution and re-peg to gold! iGold! Real Estate on Block Chain too! That's transparency.

I suspect that the oil reserves in the rest of the world are getting depleted, and that it is the main reason for the reduced production. Sweet crude oil peaked many years ago, and today the U.S. is able to use shale oil and natural gas which previously was very difficult to extract.
remember 4 years ago when we could all afford groceries and weren't on the edge of nuclear war.
From my observation and historical market pattern, there might be a bit of turbulence in the market coming up, but here's the deal: Trying to guess what's going to happen next is less important than spreading your bets when trading and thinking long term. @@JessicaKeith-uj1jq Very correct, investing is plain-sailing using a well experienced advisor, and at first-hand experience, I've witnessed my investments compound over 280%, since Jan.2020 amid rona-outbreak, summing up nearly $1m as of today.

You are good men 👏👍
In San Francisco- egregious is correct now for way too long. I lived in New York City in my 20s and early 30s- and it was off the back of exactly what he talks about- two mayors very much cleaned up the city- see "broken window" theory. Where even a broken window can give an idea of creating lawlessness. Add that into corporate real estate issues after COVID with shocking levels of inflation that will somewhat be an issue for a while...increasing poverty with no good plan for what to do still in action in places like SF (Seattle has at least put together tiny homes)...
Why the music behind it?
45 seconds in and it's already selective extrapolation. That's what you call confirming the antident.
Yall better vote for the Orange Man to straighten the economy out.
I'm curious to understand how record profits for companies while the rest of us are experiencing inflation never seems to be factored in.
Producers--- Not only is that background music unnecessary but it makes dialogue almost impossible to hear for those of us that are older.
17:59 He's dead wrong about AI. It's a heckuva lot more than statistics. It's already a massive disruptor in the job market. Within the next year, AI will take the jobs of most things that are outsourced, content creation, customer service (including phone calls and phone banks). It's going to decimate Hollywood and all the jobs of people in the background like animators, assistants, script writers, etc. Heck, it's even going to replace news anchors. They just read the news anyway, AI will eventually do that too. All of this is happening not in 5-10 years like he said, it's happening right now in 2024. If you adopt to it, you'll reap the benefits. If you ignore it, you'll be a casualty. Simple as that.

No Mystery. All on purpose by All the Central Banks. All purposeful all many years planned. Impoverishing the many to dependency and full power and Control via CBDC. Problem, reaction, solution. Enforced enslavement by debt.
It’s a total reset.
More sound effect please.
Restrict our oil to our country and OPEC is dead. We can produce all of our energy needs.
You said that three months ago!
Sorry, that annoying background music prevents me from listening to your video for long.
It's by design
Shutting down our domestic oil had nothing at all to do with it
I don't believe making theft of under $1000 misdemeanor had anything to do with it. In Texas that's $2500.
What starting in big is coming to small😮
The Federal government will press for rate drops to help commercial banks to provide cover for their need for ultra rates. However, alot of damage has already occurred. The US has a pending warcwith China and desperately needs to isolate from China economically and technologically. We have to have local sources for critical supplies during war. Not just weapons, but other items like pharmaceuticals. The US has energy policies formulated by industry lobiest rather than strategically like a general fights in the battlefield. This strategic planning done correctly would maintain free market competition within strategic best use of energy sources. The best use has to account for critical use of sources and maximize energy use. Including processing spent nuclear fuel rods to create usable concentration fuel rods. No source should be waisted. Energy avaliablity and price stability should be the target for centuries not months.

The system goes beyond the US. If US was the only Developed Country is scrutiny, then every one would leave to go ti Europe, Asia, Etc. They all had to agree to fail in order to keep people from jumping the boat. ❤ My advice to anyone wishing to leave the US, is that every other nation outside the US will need to suffer first before the US is hit. Keep put, have plan B if you n3ed to leave, and don't trust the media.
This is madness. US need immediate change in leadership.

Amping up punishments for crime doesn't really work. We already tried that and it failed. There needs to be more done to open up employment and more overtime to have police seen on the streets.
We will likely see one rate cut, similar to a token of support for the election. We should express our gratitude to Japan 🇯🇵 for the cut.
Oil dorsnt cause inflation printing money does and government spending does. Thats it
Isnt all this common sense? We have petroleum based economy. Yiu wabt prices to go down you open up domestic production. Enough with dependency on foreign goods and services. It won't happen because its all by design.
Our decline is by design.
This is crazy we need a fully funded large Police Force and the crimes committed should be punished no more slaps on the wrist no more hotel like prisons and definitely no cash payments for work to prisoners. If they work they work for their bed food and hygiene products. Those who refuse to work will have to go hungry then have their bed removed. We were brought up with tough love and we got a beating if we stepped out of line. we respected our parents and our elderly. We also respected authority and we were scared to get into trouble. Where’s the deterrents today?
The people who are in charge are not helping the citizens on a global scale.
Chamath, any way you can make the those investors whole that invested in Lemonade and Metromile merge and other investments on your recommendation and lost everything? Having billion dollars in the the bank makes your what? Nothing.

A statement of substance which is lacking in these comments.
You know we’re in the euphoria stage of a market when E-Girls have successful “day trading” social media accounts. I move my retirement capital into bonds and principle preserving options until we see the rug pull. If well positioned, we have an opportunity to take advantage of a wild re-distribution of wealth.
This seems like the worst period. Even the market are now very unpredictable. Started investing recently when the market prices were a bit high, today I am more than 60% down!

After this guy pushed spacs, I invested quite a lot Proterra and Lion Electric, which was my choice, yes. But, since I lost $46k on these investments, this man has absolutely ZERO credibility with me.
All I know is I'm sitting on $750k in cash waiting on the crash! I'm buying everything for pennies on the dollar! I'll buy a condo in San Diego for under $100k ! People are going to lose everything!

Yeah but you lose all your purchasing power with hyperinflation. So it’s still a roll of the dice.
Has anyone seen how Chamath’s SPACs are doing lately 😂 I wouldn’t trust that dude as far as I could throw him
Unless you have assets or $$ in the bank you will definitely be affected by the greed of the elite in America. But we must remember to use wisdom, pray and never allow fear to enter in your heart. I read a book that is so simple to understand on how to trust the Lord from increasing your food to healing you from sickness. I’m recommending it to anyone concerned about taking care of their family. It’s “Expect Miracle “, by Annie McGuire
Wasn't Chamath discredited and exposed as a complete fraud? Didn't he lose SPAC investors enormous sums of money? Why don't we see him on CNBC anymore? Maybe I'm wrong. I don't follow him, but it's odd he's basically disappeared from public view.
