What’s your opinion on the Volvo FE Are the mirrors very wide ? An FE is about €30.000 cheaper than an FM I don’t like the narrow cab and day cab is tiny but that’s some price difference

Hello mate, yes the mirrors do stick out a bit and the cab is very uncomfortable for breaks, you can not lean the seat back at all. Air conditioning, heated seats, rear view cameras are all extras on the fe whereas I’m sure they are standard on the fm. I think the fm model is mainly used for 8 wheeler trucks to be honest,tippers etc, and is more construction built with the higher floor clearance and the fe is more urban built and has a lower floor clearance. However I do think the fe is the perfect truck for the job we are doing. It is very manoeuvrable with the rear steer and has a very good load capacity…., the steps are very low and do stick out so you have to mindful down the country lanes etc. but is not a major issue. Personally if it was me purchasing the truck and its purpose was for the job we are doing here, I would go for the fe with some of the extras and would still work out a lot cheaper. No I hook them on, I edit that part out some times to shorten the videos and not to bore viewers with me hooking the loops on every lift.👍
