I find it hilarious that all three Spidermen have been in war films, while their respective love interests have starred in Tennis themed movies.

IMO, the music was louder at times to make you feel the emotion of the conversations taking place versus the actual spoken words. I LOVED every messy, complicated moment of it!

It's nice to see an adult drama get a bit of hype. Granted it's partly thanks to Zendaya's star power but it's good to have a bit of variety away from franchise movies.

Given your comment about Women In Love, I'm actually kinda surprised Guadagnino didn't full-on have a reference to that sequence in this movie. It REALLY wouldn't have been out of place, and I think I know one place it could've happened too!

As if "Sharing" Zendaya was some terrible breaking point and most men wouldn't jump on that and say thank you for the privilege

Tennis is an primarily an individual sport so it's a good setting for a love triangle as there is no 'sharing' involved.

Zendaya's in the top 5 best actresses born in the 90s. The others, of course, being Saoirse Ronan, Florence Pugh, Anya Taylor Joy, and Kristen Stewart.

Dune was very wise to get 2 of those actresses [and a 3rd in a cameo] involved [as well as on the male side Austin Butler and Timothy Chalamet] and make them prominent in the promos given it's a property which might not have meant much to young people and it paid off with the high box office.

Now I'm just imagining a pile of smashed cameras from filming the tennis ball shot.

I'm almost certain it has to be an entirely CG shot, that's the only practical way to do it.

You are brilliant at talking about movies. I learn so much about the movie👍

Action blockbusters are made for entertainment like 2012, battleship and transformers those were fun films so did you like them for that.

I was going to skip this film, but as you have recommended it, I will give it a watch. :)

Have you ever done one of the movie a ghost story. Starring Casey Affleck

It's and adult erotic drama - that doesn't actually have a sex scene. Lots of edging, no on screen release. And no, I've never seen a tennis match from the perspective of the ball. Because I haven't seen a tennis movie yet in which the director wanted to make em throw up. It's a movie with a lot of potential, but I found the stylization tedious and annoying. The final game of the match is practically shot in slow motion in its entirety, for crying out loud; and I couldn't understand half of the dialogue scenes due to the hammering EDM soundtrack. I get it, the characters are in turmoil - they're good actors, let them act it out.

The threesome kissing scene was funny.

I am glad I skipped this movie. I hate Zendaya.

In the future if you are trying to lead us into thinking a movie might have a classical score, don't mention Trent Reznor was the producer of the soundtrack first!

Watched it on Sunday. I didn't expect to find how SUPER BORING watching tennis in this movie. The Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross score did some steroid driven heavy lifting. The technicals - acting and production is solid. I just found the characters insufferably unlikable. I ultimately found the movie way too boring to care. EDIT: And oh! The ending was a crime against cinemanity. So insanely stupid.

To me Zendaya always comes across as a moody teenager. I can't take her seriously.

I first saw her in 'greatest Showman' where her character is quite mature.

The plot of the movie seemed annoying and bad and as you're describing it it's worse and worse. Wow this movie seems pathetic
