Hey Saber! I know I'll never get to meet you in game -not only because I'm bad, but also because I'm playing on EUW. So I figured I'd say something here instead. Your guide on machinegun Caitlyn got me into playing adc, oh the memories. I've learned a lot from you - I've got at least tier higher than I would with adcs before, but more importantly I learned to develop good habits. And that's a good habit to have. And that recent Lethality Caitlyn VOD was also great. It might have its weaknesses, but it is fun to play, which I can't say for regular build at this point. This particular video is great. It does not seem to teach me anything new, but only because I've watched a lot of your videos before that, and I've got similar message before, but it's still good to practice map awareness. I might understand it in theory (better than most people I'm playing with it seems), but even then I should practice more.

yo, dude. Im only 5minutes in, and I have to say some stuff: I dig your coaching videos a lot and they have been a huge help for me. I been playing this game for prob 10 years now, my peak was d1. I quit it for ~4 years though and just came back in 2021. My play was abysmal, I was struggling to win games in Gold lmao. After watching your stuff, I feel like I can get to diamond again. I'm already plat 2 so its been working. I have checked a lot of coaching videos out there, and your stuff is the best by far, so keep it up! Hope you can get to a fine place mentally and with your life as well.

Saber, I love your content, even the low effort stuff, and I love the way you teach and I think you're just a lovely person in general. I'm so sorry to hear that your health hasn't been great and that S10 took away some of your passion for the game - that sucks and makes content creation so grindy for sure. You are 100% the best actual TEACHER out there, legit teaching is my profession and you do everything you're supposed to do naturally; eliciting, concept checking questions, relating to your students, putting them at ease, keeping it focused on information that is relevant to students' levels, keeping it fun. I haven't seen any other coach close to this level. You're also hilarious which helps. I dunno man I just wanted to tell you this cos it seems like the past year has been rough and I wanted to share that appreciation (I tell everyone to watch your vids). And as a certified grill I would highly recommend you to any potential girlfriend even if you acted desperado ok U DESERVE HAPPINESS love your work look after yourself and enjoy it man. Anyway back to the vid cos my map awareness sucks gg

Actually my whole mindset and approach to the game and life (how too look at things see the deeper reason behind things, thinking out of the box) Domes from league and what i learned in Order to imorove in league also adapted to other things in life so a big thank you for that. Still only master but improving everyday. And you honestly inspired me to self educate in things aswell so even if it doesnt seem like it or it doesnt mean too much to you, you had a big impact in my life without being dramatic. Just wanted to tell you cause even if its not going well you had a really positive impact on my life (doing good in school now /changed my mindset etc.) So again thank you for sharing your beautiful personality.

honestly, Saber is a reason why im playing adc and why im interested in league. and hearing that one day he wanted to quit it, kinda sad, but its life. i just wanna say thank you, because of your videos i kill enemy adc on twitch 3 times in a row, when her support leaved her. I was just thinking, "okay, thats risky, but supp is top and i could try to kill her between her towers, and after that kill i just predict that she thinks that im base and will push lane. so, ty saber for making content, hope u r having a good day!

@@miirkatx unfortunately, im just a random who doesnt play often. But based off the champions that you named I would focus on laning and autospacing. Your champs have really good range advantage so do make sure to just get those free auto attacks in. If you are ahead, freezing the wave on your side is lethal to the enemy. Deny them the cs or even the exp if you can do so. I've seen way too many players not all in even though they are stronger and the wave is in a good position. My personal playstyle is to play aggressive levels 1-2(focusing on the lvl 2 all in if possible). And then playing with more respect after lvl 3 and lvl6. Also dont be afraid of the enemy support. If its someone like morgana who walks up to pool, just auto attack her and walk away from the pool. If it is blitzcrank you need to know before lane starts if you want to fight for lvl 2 (in which case you play to chunk blitz down early alongside the wave) or if you want to concede all pressure until the wave crashes to your tower. Something i learned is that 99% of all support players are afraid to make a play when they are low hp. Like be confident enough to bait the enemy to throw their hook while you dodge it. Confidence with the skills to back it up(flash) will give you control of the lane for the duration that the enemy support's skill is on cd. Really need to get damage in this timeframe. The only other skill that matters in botlane is knowing how to create a good situation for your ally. If you can pressure the enemy into running alongside a wall, then your support thresh can easily land a hook. If you have support yuumi then you can trade 1 for 1 auto attacks because she will heal you, and your autos are stronger. Also do not tilt if your support roams a lot. Because as long as you can survive/get the exp, you will end up stronger then the enemy after a few waves (lvl advantage). In fact if you know that your lane is just going to be a farm fest, definitely tell your support pyke that he can roam after you reach the point where you can survive 1v2. (Usually when i get mythic).

@@dragoontrick5220 Thanks for the tips! I only freezed lane when I was behind but I’ll start doing it when I’m ahead too. Did you get to plat solo queue only? Whenever I ask for tips elsewhere people tell me I should find a jg or supp to duo queue with :/ I also picked up Tristana cause I’m having an easier time carry games in solo queue with her but I really love playing range like cait, jinx, ashe

  • @dragoontrick5220

@@miirkatx i play solo, but i dont have a rank. I play normals and just asked my friends to 1v1 me a bunch. But the matchmaking does put me against players anywhere from silver to diamond so i guess thats a normals only thing. Duo is indeed really helpful if your goal is to climb because they can guide you in realtime about the plays you can make. For example you can call for a dive and engage together. You can focus on the pvp, while your duo can track the jungler. Tristana is perfectly fine to play as she is a little less team reliant than other adcs. You just need to know what your champion can do. Trist wants to land her E and pop it. Ashe wants to find a long lane all-in/arrow to start a numbers advantage fight. Jinx wants to run people down with W into E after poking them down with long ranged autos.

I tried it in a game and it really solved my problem of having no damage early on twitch. I think your builds are great, so will you do some build guides for different ADC champs? Not just reading what you think are the best items, but telling us what to build in each situation. For instance, about when to build duskblade vs sunderer on ezreal, wits end shield bow vs kraken on she and koggie, etc.

Hey maybe somebody can help me here. I'm quiet new to the game. How can you while last hitting minions display attack range and at the same time the aim cursor for the minion? Would be great to know😄

Saber do you think going bloodthirster second instead of stormrazor or LDR is viable? I've been toying abound with the idea of different second items since i don't really know how much value stormrazor slow brings, especially at my elo (silver). Bloodthirster has more AD and i feel like the sustain helps and the shield preventing me from getting onshot is also nice. But nobody seems to build it so i might be wrong on this.
