Wow, he is amazing. Didn’t realize just how good he is until now. I’d heard he was a Japanese legend but thought there was some hype to it. But DAMMIT this guy really is a musical genius!💪🏻🤘🏻

+Shona McCarthy Actually his drumming is what did that... the insides of his hands are pretty much torn to shreds. Also, interesting to note, he plays the piano in much the same way Freddie Mercury did, with fingers bent down like he's typing.

kinda late...but, that's how you play fast.. and in cords... Can't have flying fingers that's what's important

actually they don't wear a wrist brace unless they injure their wrist, yoshiki tore some tendons in his wrist is the reason for the brace.

if the palms of his hands we're torn to shreds,(which they are not) he would have on gloves and not one wrist brace, drumming does not hurt the palms of your hands.

the wrist brace is due to torn tendons in his writs, and he plays classic piano, its not like he is playing speed metal

He is one of the most outstanding musicians in the world and will be always so. The best drummer and pianist/composer I have witnessed. He is a master of both Metal and mainstream music

Hide was a total genius and always will be even though he has passed on many years ago . Even the original bassist of xjapan Taiji was such an amazing guitarist . The history of xjapan itself is really one to watch on repeat .
