Greetings from Washington D.C! I was born in Pakistan but grew up here in Washington, DC and so I've never really listened to pakistani music. But my cousin recently introduced me to a few artists including Zeb and Haniya and now I'm hooked. Everything in this video is beyond perfection. I'm proud. Well done!

Yes these coke sessions are amazing, India has had more talent than Pakistan but they didn't do too good of a job in coke studios for some reason.

At last? :P You must have been asleep. Pakistan's music industry has always been superior to its Indian counterpart. Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Mehdi Hassan etc etc. There are great Indian singers but they got nothing on Pakistani singers. Music in India is moral commercialised (muni badnam hoi).

"at last sensing the quality music" Lol 😆 You seem to be quite late to the party it seems. They always had amazing music. Before Coke studio, there were/are Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Noor Jahan, Abida Parveen, Mehdi Hassan to name a few.

This song is like a fresh gush of air in this time of turmoil.

i can hear it any number of times...its soo pure n soothing..kudos..:)

This. is so calming and uplifting

Unity in diversity. No muslim, no hindu, no male or female, no beautiful or ugly, no pakistan or India. In love Music, You only exist. Everything and nothing. Miles apart across the universe , we all are connected. Unity in Diversity.

Have not seen any singing presentation having that many viewers except Coke Studio Pakistan videos. Seems, this innovative combination by CS Pakistan by seemingly having good musicians and all kinds of instruments from Indo-Pak to Middle East and the West and yet songs by Pakistan folk singing is mesmerizing. Almost a new invention in music industry.

Coke Studio was created by a Pakistani singer, who also sang "Junoon" (a patriotic Pakistani song). Nescafe Basement was created by a Pakistani singer, composer and songwriter Zulfiqar Jabbar Khan (aka Xulfi) who also composes the songs in Nescafe Basement.

This is one of the song which I could listen from rest of my life till last moment.

Finally found it Was searching this song from 3 years.( Was played in Behadd telefilm in background ).

This is one of the best songs of Coke Studio, Zeb and Haniya and Javed Bashir. Props to Rohail Hyatt, the production team, the house band, and these amazing singers. I'm switching to coke from now on.

I'm already a fan of Zeb & Haniya, but now I'm also a fan of Javed Bashir....soul music in it's true form and nature.

I remember I took this song from my sister Nokia phone using Bluetooth and this used to my favourite songs. It was maybe more than a decade back when smart phone was not a thing . I still remember the lyrics by hard . I didn't Know the face behind the voice. Good memory and sadly such songs you won't hear now

Javaid bashir is Icreadible, awesome. No comparison wid this guy india to even pak. Such a powerful and rock voice he has.

I heard zeb and hania long back and just recently heard Ajnabi from the movie madras cafe! Was pleasantly surprised to see that zeb sang it! her voice just oozes this calm melodic aura which is just mesmerizing!

This is the ever best performance by Bashir...after listening to him for 10 years am saying it..I might b wrong though...

The way she sings.. the way she smiles while singing.. its all so beautiful.. its like she was born to do this.. destined to make such amazing piece of art.. breathtaking!!..
