Music is inherently universal. As a Pakistani expat, I have never shied away from enjoying and liking and even loving Indian melodies because our cultural norms are quite similar to one another in many ways. I also think that art and entertainment can bridge distances between people. Why even bother to waste time and energy in hate and violence when you got one life to live? As far as your knowledge is concerned, I was so impressed with how you had guessed the Umar-Marvi story in the song Aayi Aayi. Even I didn’t know about it. So what if you got something wrong about Pakistani history or geography? You are not from there and just the fact that you spend time to know about another country and its history and its people is worth commending in my view. So no worries there and hope you take any harsh or rude comments in your stride with positivity. Enjoyed this review too and yes, Go song is another masterpiece. Abdullah Siddiqui is in it who has been the associate producer with Xulfi in both seasons and was Xulfi’s discovery from Nescafé Basement days. Re: your sur.. Confidence hai!! 👏☺️
