I always wait for your reaction because you get the overall vibe and narrative. You discussed the one side of this song which is literal. But I think, it also has another side. Sajjad Ali is encouraging the people who are stuck in their lives and don’t have courage to move on because of society or peer pressure. Farheen is also saying that she wants to move on and have big ambitions but what society will think or people might let her down. Well, it’s my thinking. Zulfi may have different narrative. Anyway, blown by Farheen’s voice. She should have given more part. Sajjad Ali is always a hit. If someone is wondering why this song is partially in Punjabi and Urdu? It represents another language dialect or pattern in Pakistan that is used by many people these days. I am happy Coke studio Pakistan represented them too 🙂
