I'm a mountain girl who grew among the clouds in the mountains. Don't ask whether I'm Limbu, Magar, Rai, Tamang or Gorkhali. Of this green Assam with a beautiful heart like the morning sun I want to spread the fragrance of love. Inspite of being Nepal and I am Assamese too and I want to make the river of love flow. I dance Deuda (Nepali dance) when I hear the sound of madal and I bend my hips to dance when I hear the sound of dhol(Assamese musical instrument). Like I sing dohori with enthusiasm, I can sing bihu in the month of Baisakh. In this golden soil of golden Assam, I weave golden dreams. When I look at myself in the water of the spring, I don't know why I blush. This tender heart is flying from Sadiya, Dhuburi to Majuli. This song is in Assamese and Nepali languages mixed and it celebrates cultural assimilation between two cultures.
