Chainsaw CC Test

I've been having a good time learning and testing these chainsaws and their capability. Out of these three which one would you go for?
Thank you everyone for watching, commenting, and following my channel! as I am learning, I appreciate you all!

Smaller saws tend to have higher chain speed for example the husqvarna 346xp has a free rev speed of 16,500 rpm and the 395xp has one of only 12,000 rpm. But the larger saws have more torque so are faster in larger wood. CCs are not a great show of cut speed because it depends on species of wood. You also run into issues with chain pitch, for example my husky 540XP Mk3 is setup for 1/4 pitch, 346xp .325, 266 3/4 and 390 for .404 pitch. So there’s tons of factors great video as always though ❤

Never knew chainsaw KZread was a thing and that a tiny cute brunette was wielding chainsaws like a claymore to fill the niche. I got forced to learn how to operate a chainsaw as a kid by my dad, like a literal child, he would force me to cut stumps and saplings while he screamed at me to stop crying, I wasn't strong enough to crank it. So I don't have the love of chainsaw she has but it has been a great skill to have living in hurricane country.

The cut speed depends on at least these things: 1 chain speed during cut (this is dependent on the available torque, length of bar, type of wood, downward pressure, raker setting, chain tooth sharpness), chain type and size, etc) 2. Dynamic chip clearance (dependent on most of the above) 3. Pressure perpendicular to the cut (dependent on saw weight, operator actions) It's difficult to compare cut speed straight up because saws with different properties can be operated differently to obtain similar results. Small saws for instance, often run smaller width (gauge) chain, which makes a dramatic difference in cut speed because the kerf is so much smaller. The widest standard drive link gauge (.063) is about 50% larger than the most narrow (.043). Since the cutting tooth and therefore the kerf width is generally proportional to the drive link width ( this is what fits in the bar slot) it takes more power to cut with wider chain. Going from smallest to largest might take 50% more power or 50% more displacement (say from a 40 cc to 60 cc). Obviously that is an over simplification due to all the other factors. As a result, picking the largest displacement saw made for a chosen chain gauge often results in the potential for faster cuts.

The only way to be certain of an accurate comparison test is to have Matched Chains. All the same type - Full, Semi, etc. and all to the same fresh sharpness. * Next in importance is Saw Tuning and Maximum sustainable RPM in the wood.

On the small end -60cc bigger is faster, on the high end the larger saws in small wood is slower, for example my 044 72cc is faster than a 066 92cc because the 066 has less chain speed but more torque

I dont know what kind of saw the pink one is, but its the slowest 60cc i have seen. You should compare with a MS-362. A pro-model that revs like a deamon. I have a 362 with Tsumura Light 16" and full chisel chain and it cuts twice as fast as the pink saw.

the holzfforma saws are also chines saws and the g372 is even with the 372xp in power, may not in durability and reliability but the g372 cost only 1/4 from the 372xp. If you swap some parts like the carb you have a good saw almost like the real one put you paid only less than the half for it. And the cheaper Stihl saws are also produced in China only the high end ones are still produced in Germany

The way she holds her saws baffles me. Like she's doing it backwards or something. Oh yeah. She's a lefty.😂😂😂 But seriously. Your forward arm should be straighter so that it will trip the brake during a kickback. Keep up the good work.
