    Came in a wed bit late last night then I had a visitor,so missed you creating a new work of Ryan's art. Will need to watch this one before attempting that,gotta get more carving wood,my best wood is 3/5,thousand yr old. Black ,right the ways through it. Cracks and splitting stuff,only good for anything,not quite coal bug not quite wood. Beautiful when is carved the right way. Carve deeper.

    beautiful as always , i love your work but its your advice thats really a big time help to me . ive been showing my carvings at the local farmers market here in Yuma and the first pearched eagle went for 40.00. disheartening , hell yes but you said" dont worry about it , keep carving" and i did , my last eagle wings up and landing sold for 400.00. thank you

    Look up Irish Bog Oak. You'll love the stuff. Must get something similar up there in Treeland. In the bog or tundra stuff. Carve deeper.

    Have ya ever logged for a living Ryan? My sons a arborist climber and topper. For a urban lumber tree trimming co he gets some dang nice wood every day. He slabs and sells it alot to much to carve himself. They actually carve a 3 d tree outa certain stumps in yards. Great side gig.

    Hey Ryan this is Ed I watch your videos and as wondering when you use a template and you got round log and you put it on there does that make any difference or you need to flatten it What you know if you don't have much logged in the time you flatten it you got a whole lot less

    I always tried to sell no matter what. Even if it was not good right at the beginning but things didn’t really start selling till about three years after I started in carving. I also only had carving for an income I didn’t have any other options I just was all in from the start

    Man how do ya handel all the saw gas fumes inside that shead. I always do my sawing outside. And my other questions is what do you do about bar oil. In the woods loggin we would use waste oil on the bars. Cant on a carving leaves black oil splatters every were?

    my shop is actually really ventilated the roof is all vented and there is so many holes its crazy. I use canola oil for my small saws .. smells like french fries lol

    Every one always asks. How ya do that. I tell them all the same thing . Draw a pic see it and Just cut away all the wood that dont belong there. Its ez as 123 , 1 pick up the phone and call me.. 2 tell me what ya want made . 3rd and most important pay me. Lol ez as 123
