When you hit a bump the hook could potentially slip off the chain.

Why not use a come a long and I'd like to see eyes on the machine and a snap hooks on the ratchet. That way if slack happens the hook cannot just unknowingly come completely loose by a link popping out..

Too many points of failure on that tie down. The correct way to tie is to used the binder as the end link, not to take the slack out of the middle. Makes a tie down at least 25% stronger.

Micheal Yarbrough exactly, and when you hook the binder to the equipment, you don’t end up with the chain kinking and the links popping and the chain loosening as you tighten. This guy doesn’t know what he’s doing.

chain is wrong color it must be grade 70 and to chain any thing that is not Cross chained is just stupid if you show people show them the right way.... and if transport chain is not used if they have a failure they could be responsible and the person who did this video is also liable !!!!!
